Denny’s Unmutes the Clock: Menu Open All Day

Denny’s is launching its “The Clock’s Off Menu” on June 24—an all-day lineup built for breakfast, lunch, and dinner cravings at any hour—along with new items like the Strawberry Cheesecake Scoop Slam and the Salted Caramel Cold Brew Shake.

At 2:00 p.m. on a Tuesday, the idea of ordering a sizzling Sirloin without waiting for “the right time” has always sounded obvious—until a diner tells you the rules in bold letters. This summer, Denny’s is moving the clock out of the way.

The restaurant chain announced that it will launch “The Clock’s Off Menu” on June 24. The new lineup is designed to bring breakfast. lunch. and dinner favorites together so they’re available any time of day across Denny’s restaurants nationwide—no curfew on the kitchen. no schedule for cravings. The central pitch is simple: people don’t eat on a timetable.

Denny’s says the menu is built around staples that already define the brand. including Moons Over My Hammy and the Country-Fried Steak & Eggs. It also adds fresh items meant to expand what guests can grab when they want something sweet. something filling. or both. Among the new additions is the Strawberry Cheesecake Scoop Slam. plus Salted Caramel Cold Brew Shake. a BBQ Cookout Classic Burger. and a lineup of Diner Dipper selections.

The Diner Dipper selections listed in the announcement include Bacon. Egg. and Cheese Slider; Cheesy Bacon Ranch Sliders; Mozzillas™; and Bone-in Wings tossed in Buffalo Sauce. Other menu items named include BBQ Bacon Chicken Sandwich. Sirloin Steak. Moons Over My Hammy®. Country Fried Steak & Eggs. and Slamburger™.

The chain also points to value meal options, saying Slammin’ Meal Deals Under $10 will make it easier for guests to “keep everyone full and happy.” This summer, Denny’s says it is adding two new options to that lineup.

Denny’s tied the launch to what it described as a later-month moment. asking guests to “tune in later this month to see this new menu come to life through a nostalgic announcement.” The company also invited people to sign up as Denny’s Rewards Members for free food. “like any dessert or kid’s meal. ” and to be first to learn about special promotions. new flavors. and more.

The announcement came from Denny’s Corporation, with the company identifying its headquarters as Spartanburg, S.C. The brand said it has been welcoming guests to its booths for more than 70 years and described its approach to ordering as flexible—offering meals not only at brick-and-mortar locations. but also via Denny’s on Demand. described as the first delivery platform in the family dining segment. and through its three virtual restaurant concepts: The Meltdown. Banda Burrito. and The Burger Den.

Denny’s also used the release to highlight its community efforts. including its Mobile Relief Diner that delivers hot meals during times of disaster. its Denny’s Hungry for Education™ scholarship program. and its annual fundraiser with long-time partner No Kid Hungry. It also pointed to a new partnership supporting Cookies for Kids’ Cancer. described as a mission to fund research for new. improved and less toxic treatments for kids facing cancer.

The scale behind the change matters too. Denny’s said that as of September 24, 2025, the Denny’s brand consisted of 1,459 global restaurants—1,397 franchised and licensed and 62 company-operated. That total includes 166 restaurants across countries including Canada. Costa Rica. Curacao. El Salvador. Guam. Guatemala. Honduras. Indonesia. Mexico. New Zealand. the Philippines. Puerto Rico. the United Arab Emirates. and the United Kingdom.

For the immediate future, the key date is June 24. After that, Denny’s says the kitchen stays open and the menu has no curfew—an all-day shift aimed squarely at one recurring diner complaint: the feeling that your craving has to wait.
