Zayn’s mistake gave the Ring General room to brutalize Rhodes. even locking in a disrespectful Figure-Four Leglock that nearly forced Rhodes to submit. Rhodes fought back with Cross Rhodes. but Gunther kicked free when his foot got under the bottom rope and Zayn was forced to break the pinfall.

The argument that followed nearly cost Rhodes everything. Zayn shoved Rhodes directly into a Guillotine submission attempt that threatened to end the bout—then it didn’t. because Zayn kept struggling to maintain control. That failure left space for Gunther to snap and hit Zayn with a Powerbomb. A new official rushed in, but Zayn took him out and cost Gunther with a quick count. The show then pivoted to WWE Tag Team Championship stakes. where Damian Priest and R-Truth defended their titles against the MFTs. Their reign was secured by a mistake from Solo Sikoa. Priest and Talla Tonga traded heavy blows, and the champions jumped ahead early with a Five-Knuckle Shuffle from Truth. Ricky Saints then punched his ticket to Night of Champions by defeating Carmelo Hayes to become the United States Championship No. 1 Contender. The match started with both men countering each other’s signature moves, including Hayes’ springboard DDT. But when the turnbuckle padding came off during an exchange. Saints used the exposed area—crushing Hayes into it head-first—then rolling up Hayes for the win.

In the King of the Ring Tournament semifinals, Jey Uso advanced to the finals after defeating Je’Von Evans. The road to the final runs through Night of Champions, where Jey will face Oba Femi. Evans’ ribs were already compromised due to the Spear from Bron Breakker on Monday Night. and Uso leaned into it by stomping on them whenever he could. Evans still fought back with aerial maneuvers, but the assault resumed with a Superkick and a Spear to the ribs. Uso countered the OG Cutter and hit a key Spear. setting up an Uso Splash to finally put Je’Von Evans away.

Then came the moment that defined the Queen of the Ring semifinal—and it wasn’t just what happened in the ring. Liv Morgan defeated Charlotte Flair in their Queen of the Ring Tournament semifinal matchup to secure her spot in the Queen of the Ring final.

Flair’s night began compromised. She was the victim of a brutal pre-match attack led by Jade Cargill, forcing The Queen to compete far from 100 percent. Even after that, Flair wasn’t given time to settle. The injury was compounded by an uncalled cheap shot from Morgan before the bell.
