Alogic adds touch and stylus displays for Mac workarounds

Alogic’s touchscreen – Alogic unveiled a new range of wall and desk displays that bring touchscreen and stylus controls to macOS as well as Windows—aimed squarely at users waiting for Apple’s rumored touchscreen Mac.
Apple still hasn’t released a touchscreen Mac. For some people, that gap shows up every time they try to tap, scribble, or annotate on an external display—then hit the wall of “it should work, but it doesn’t.”
At InfoComm 2026 in Las Vegas, Alogic tried to solve that problem with a new lineup of external screens designed to deliver touch and stylus behavior on both macOS and Windows. The pitch is simple: no touchscreen Mac is here yet, so these displays bring the experience until it arrives.
The company introduced several products. including the Fokus wall-mounted touchscreens. the Aspekt Touch 27-inch monitor. the Folio portable displays. and an Active Stylus. Alogic says its software lets users tap through the interface. mark up content. draw. and use a stylus on supported screens—behavior Mac users often can’t get from external touch displays without extra work.
Fokus is the biggest line, built for spaces where people share information in front of a group. Alogic designed it for meeting rooms. classrooms. and other shared workspaces where showing. annotating. and sketching directly on the screen matters. The Fokus models come in 43-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch sizes. Each one uses a 4K panel and supports multitouch input.
For desk setups, Alogic’s Aspekt Touch 27-inch looks like the more direct fit. The company positions it as a smaller version of its existing 32-inch touch monitor. and closer in size to Apple’s Studio Display. The Aspekt Touch includes a 4K panel, 600 nits of brightness, and 100% sRGB coverage. It also brings a USB-C docking setup, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, Ethernet, and 90W charging. Alogic says it will be sold in Silver and Space Black, with Raise, Fold, and Omni stand options.
The Folio lineup is aimed at people who need extra screen space away from a fixed desk. The regular Folio includes a single 16-inch QHD touch panel. The Folio Duo adds a second screen and can be arranged either as a vertical stack or a wider dual-screen layout—an option Alogic suggests could fit travelers using a MacBook who still want a more flexible. multi-display setup.
Price is where the “no, this isn’t for everyone” message lands. The Fokus 43-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch models cost $2,799, $3,299, and $3,999, respectively. The Aspekt Touch 27-inch starts at $1,799.
The portable options are more accessible: the Folio costs $899, while the Folio Duo is $1,299. Alogic also sells an Active Stylus with wireless charging for $149, and an Iris 2 4K autofocus webcam for $199.
Timing is another key detail. Alogic says the Aspekt Touch 27-inch and the Active Stylus arrive in July 2026. The Fokus, Folio, and Iris 2 are expected by September.
The unspoken reality behind all of it is that Apple’s next move—whether it finally brings touch to the Mac lineup—hasn’t happened yet. Alogic’s answer is to bring touch-first workflows to the people who need them now: presenters. teachers. students. and anyone tired of juggling software tricks to get a simple tap-and-markup experience on a Mac external display.

So it’s basically a touchscreen for Macs because Apple won’t hurry up? Kinda wild it’s still a “workaround” thing.
I don’t get why Apple can’t just allow tap-to-draw on any display. Like isn’t that just a driver? Also stylus always feels like it should be included.
They’re pitching this as “until Apple releases a touchscreen Mac,” but what if Apple does and then these companies get left behind? Also 43/55/65 inch touchscreens in classrooms seems like a cracked-screen disaster waiting to happen.
Wait, so the wall screens can do stylus AND touch on macOS AND Windows? Sounds like it’ll “work” but only if you buy their special software bundle… which is always annoying. I swear my external display already does some of this, so I’m confused.
