Terrion Arnold walked into police custody Wednesday evening in Florida—then immediately pushed back at the heart of the allegations.
The Detroit Lions cornerback, 23, turned himself in and was booked at 10:11 PM, according to the account of his surrender. He is being held at a Hillsborough County jail facility, and he is being held without bond.
Arnold now faces four counts of robbery with a firearm or deadly weapon and four counts of kidnapping with intent to harm or terrorize. Prosecutors’ accusations trace back to an alleged incident in Tampa in February—an event that has been under scrutiny for months. as the charges have continued to circulate.
Arnold, a former first-round draft pick in 2024, has maintained his innocence since the allegations began to surface. Shortly after his surrender on Tuesday night, his representative, Denise White, denied any wrongdoing and said there is a lack of evidence tying him to the claims.
“Terrion Arnold categorically denies any involvement in the matters underlying the allegations made against him and maintains his innocence,” White said in a statement provided to TMZ Sports.
White went on to say there is “no credible evidence linking Mr. Arnold to these allegations.” She also argued the case relies on “testimony from multiple convicted felons” who. in her view. have “admitted their own involvement” and “may have substantial incentives to shift blame in an effort to lessen their sentences.”.
She said Arnold intends to fight the charges. “Mr. Arnold looks forward to his day in court and is confident that the judicial process will lead to his ultimate vindication.”
The next step for Arnold is the courtroom. While he remains in custody without bond, the charges anchored to the February Tampa incident mark a high-stakes escalation—one he insists is built on weak ties and shifting testimony rather than proof.
