Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard’s private life has come into focus after his wife Laura Hilvern confirmed they have split, saying the couple have been “separated for some time.” The announcement followed changes on her Instagram account, where she removed multiple images featuring the player.

Hilvern, 33, posted the confirmation on Tuesday evening, framing the decision as difficult but handled with care. She wrote that, “with deep love, care, and respect for one another,” they made “the incredibly difficult decision to separate amicably.”

She added that the separation was not sudden. stating that they had been apart for a period and used that time to navigate the situation privately and thoughtfully.. In her message. Hilvern emphasized the mutual understanding behind the outcome and their shared desire “to create the healthiest and happiest future for everyone involved.”

The Arsenal star and Hilvern also stressed their commitment to parenthood, saying they are “and always will be devoted parents” to their two children. She thanked readers for compassion and understanding, requesting privacy during what she described as a deeply personal transition.

The couple married in June 2019, and together they have two children: one born in April 2017 and another in January 2023. According to what Hilvern has shared publicly, she has not posted an Instagram photo including her wedding ring since December 2025.

The pair’s relationship has tracked the main milestones of Trossard’s football rise. They were together throughout the period in which he took a major step in his career when he signed for Premier League club Brighton in 2019.
