Katie Price says Lee Andrews detained near Hatta

Katie Price says her husband Lee Andrews has been missing for five days after she claims he was “detained in a van” near the Oman border by Hatta, prompting a missing-person report involving the British embassy and Dubai authorities.
Katie Price says she has not heard from her husband Lee Andrews for five days, after his last communication came hours after what she describes as a detention near the Dubai-Oman border.
In a video uploaded to her YouTube channel on Saturday. the Celebrity Big Brother alum said: “On Wednesday night my husband was detained in a van by the Oman boarder near Hatta.. I have not heard from him since. despite getting the authorities involved. nobody knows where he is.” She said Andrews was trying to reach the border in Dubai “to get on a flight to me. ” when she received a FaceTime call from the 43-year-old.
Price described the call as unsettling.. She said Andrews had “a hood on” and “ties around his hand. ” not handcuffs. and he told her he had been captured or arrested. adding. “Look. they’re coming back for me.. They’re coming back for me.” She said that call was the last time she spoke to him. before his phone went dead at 10:03.
Andrews’ family has filed a report with the British embassy in Dubai regarding his disappearance, Price said.. She also said she and Andrews’ family have contacted the police. the embassy. and “the head of CID in Dubai. ” describing it as the Criminal Investigation Department of the Dubai Police.. “He’s definitely a missing person now,” Price said.. “I don’t know if he’s been kidnapped.. We don’t know what’s going on.”
Price added that no one can locate Andrews “in any prison. police station. anything. anywhere in Dubai.” She said police “just can’t find any record of it. ” leaving her and others wondering whether he was taken.. In the same video, she pushed back against claims circulating online that the situation was staged.. “I’m mortified after seeing people calling it a stunt and that she must be in on it,” she said.. “But she’s absolutely not.”
A person close to Price described the situation as escalating, saying Andrews is “officially a missing person now,” and that Price is “in constant contact with his family and is desperately worried.”
The dispute over what happened has also played out in public appearances.. Price said she and Andrews were set to make an appearance on Tuesday’s segment of ITV’s Good Morning Britain. but Andrews did not show up.. On Instagram that same day. Price made light of the no-show by singing along to Raye’s “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!” and sending Andrews a voice note.
Price and Andrews were married in January. Entertainment Weekly has reached out to representatives for Price, the British Embassy in Dubai, and the Dubai Police for comment.
The timeline Price provided is tight: she says Andrews’ last FaceTime call ended when his phone went dead at 10:03 after he told her he had been “captured” or “arrested,” and five days later she says no one in Dubai can find a record of him in prisons or police stations.
For now, Price is urging attention to a case she describes as unresolved, with family reporting involving the British embassy and contacts reaching Dubai police leadership, even as she continues to question whether there was a kidnapping behind his disappearance.
