Katharine McPhee and David Foster are celebrating their seventh wedding anniversary in London, including a return to the church where they married in 2019 and a playful dinner caption about still liking each other.
When Katharine McPhee started sharing her London trip on Instagram Stories, it didn’t look like a stiff anniversary recap. It looked like a couple slipping back into the place where their story started.
The actress and singer, 42, is marking seven years of marriage with David Foster while they’re in London this week. In one photo, she captioned the moment “Rennie‘s parents 7 years later,” referring to their five-year-old son, Rennie. Another post sent readers straight back to the day they became husband and wife: McPhee shared a video from the ceremony and wrote. “Happy 7 year itch baby!”.
Their wedding took place in 2019 at London’s Church of Saint Yeghiche. McPhee also shared photos of her Zac Posen wedding dress. adding that David’s stylist daughter. Jordan Foster. helped bring it to life. And later, there was an anniversary dinner moment she kept delightfully light, joking, “We still like each other. Most days.”.
A few years back. McPhee was asked what made her marriage work. and she didn’t frame it as luck or chemistry alone. She told E!. News, “Therapy. A good therapist. ” and added that another key is having “someone in your life or another couple in your life that is helpful when there’s discord. disagreements.”.
She continued, “I really feel like you can talk through most everything, but you have to have the language, the vocabulary to do that. So that takes practice and self-awareness and having skills to facilitate those conversations.”
McPhee also pointed to how well she and Foster understand each other’s working rhythms. “We met each other 18 years ago in this exact space—like a recording studio, in a work environment,” she said. “So. that’s truly where we know each other the best is knowing the ease. and the greatness. and the way he works and just always gets the best thing out of people.”.
With the anniversary posts circling back to the church, the dress, and even the tone of an at-the-table joke, the message landed the same way her captions did: they’re celebrating the milestone, but keeping the day-to-day humanity front and center.

Wait so David Foster’s daughter styled her dress? I thought it was his wife or something (idk why I thought that). Anyway if it’s true, that’s kinda cute. “We still like each other most days” is relatable for sure even though I’m sure they don’t mean it like us peons.
Not gonna lie, I skimmed and thought this was about like a charity thing or a church fundraiser. But it’s just anniversary pics… still good for them I guess. “Language and vocabulary” for disagreements?? sounds like therapy talk. Also why is everyone in London lately it feels like every celebrity post is just ‘in London again’.
