The 53-year-old director, known for working with Swift on music videos including “Blank Space,” “Bad Blood,” “Wildest Dreams,” and “Delicate,” posted about his experience on social media the day after the ceremony. The wedding took place on Friday, July 3, at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Kahn wrote that he “had a wonderful time” at the wedding, adding that he got the chance to meet Steven Spielberg and the “lovely Kate Capshaw” and talk filmmaking with “the GOAT”—a lifelong dream he said he’d finally achieved.
He didn’t stop there. Kahn said what surprised him most was the tone of the day. “What I will say about the wedding was it was so much funnier and emotional than expected,” he wrote, before emphasizing the strange contrast of scale versus atmosphere: “as big as it was, it also felt very intimate.”
In another line, he described the attendance as almost unreal. “And yes. literally everyone was there.” He told his wife.
