Jordyn Woods dress for Karl-Anthony Towns wedding revealed

Shaboozey just floated through this couple’s wedding
A couple’s wedding ceremony in Mammoth Lakes got an unexpected surprise when Shaboozey floated past on the Owens River during their vows.
Jordyn Woods is sharing the details behind her glamorous wedding looks.
On Saturday, Aug. 15, Woods and NBA champion Karl-Anthony Towns were married Malibu, California, in front of family and a bevy of famous faces. A day after the wedding, Vogue released a Woods final fitting behind the scenes video, where she revealed how her custom Danielle Frankel gown was created for her big day.
Woods walked down the aisle in a strapless silk-wool gown featuring a draped bodice, with an attached neck wrap, and a full ball skirt. The skirt draping and the neck wrap were finished with soft, hand-cut Chantilly and corded lace appliqués that also bordered the bride’s matching veil. Meanwhile, Towns kept it classy for the ceremony in a black Ralph Lauren tuxedo.
In the Vogue video, Woods visits Frankel’s Los Angeles studio with her mother, Elizabeth, and sister, Jodie, to try on her wedding gown for the last time before the wedding and detail the process of designing the dream dress.
“It’s unreal,” Woods says in the video as she admires herself in the custom creation with her mother and sister by her side. “It’s everything I could have wanted in a dress. This is better than I thought any dream wedding dress could be.”
And even though Towns didn’t match his bride in white, Woods went on to explain how her now-husband’s look complemented her ivory gown. With her husband busy with a little thing called the NBA Finals, the fashion brand founder took it upon herself to help organize her then-fiancé’s wedding looks.
“He knew he wanted a Ralph Lauren suit … I took it from there,” she says. “I actually got a swatch of the silk from Danielle’s team, dropped it off to Ralph, and said, ‘Can you please match his suit jacket to this?'”
And like any stylish bride, there is always a second look. In addition to her ceremony dress, Woods gave viewers a glimpse of her second dress: a form-fitting strapless lace gown with an asymmetrical side-drape skirt that was accidentally created.
Frankel explains, “I asked Jordyn to lift one side, so I could see what was going on under the dress. And as she was holding it … the gown draped so beautifully. I said, ‘Hold it there.’ We pinned it in place and that’s literally what happened.”
Woods also confirmed that the couple had a Friday night welcome reception, where she donned an elegant, Old Hollywood-inspired silk slip dress also by Frankel. In her final fitting video, Woods tries on the cowl-neck slip dress last and thanks the designer and the team for all their hard work in creating her three bridal looks.
Photos from the wedding circulated on social media over the weekend. The bride and groom could be seen walking down a white aisle adorned with ivory-hued florals. A-list guests such as Hailey and Justin Bieber, Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet, Ali and Jalen Brunson, and Shannon and Josh Hart (all garbed in all-black ensembles) could be seen in Instagram posts and photos published by Page Six.
