For the second time in a day, social media posts weren’t just commentary. In San Antonio, police say a 26-year-old man’s words crossed into violence.
Jacob Wenske was arrested after authorities alleged he made a terroristic threat connected to Erika Kirk and an upcoming Turning Point USA summit. San Antonio police said Thursday that Wenske commented on an April social media post about the event by writing, “I know exactly where to bomb.”
Police also accused Wenske of sending an email that included a direct call for death and described violence aimed at the summit and its participants. The email, as described in the case, read: “Death to Erika Kirk and every single speaker there!!. America will live on without those scum on this earth. Every Christian nationalist shall perish in the bombing that will take place at every single Turning Point rally and event.”.
Turning Point USA later addressed the arrest on X, posting in response to news of the action. The organization wrote: “We are grateful to the San Antonio Police Department and the FBI for their rapid response and arrest of the individual making these threats.”
TPUSA added that security would not be scaled back, and said the safety of attendees remains the priority. “The safety of our attendees, speakers, and staff is always our top priority. All TPUSA events include enhanced, multi-layered security measures that are enforced by both private security and local police. We refuse to let threats silence us.”.
The story is still developing, and additional information is expected to be added as authorities move forward in the case.

Bomb threat? That’s insane.
Turning Point USA always has “security” somehow lol but if someone really said that, lock him up. I’m just confused how this even gets on anyone’s timeline.
So Erika Kirk is the one who got threatened and now they’re saying it’s fine cuz police arrested him? Like… are they sure it wasn’t staged or something? Also “FBI” makes it sound way bigger than it probably is, idk.
He said “I know exactly where to bomb” on a post and then somehow the email is even worse… but I keep seeing people online say it was just “heated political talk.” Like if you’re threatening bombing and death, that’s not politics that’s literally terrorism. Kinda wild TPUSA put out the X post like immediately, but I guess they had to. Hope they actually keep everybody safe at that summit.
