For some World of Hyatt members, the weekend inbox brought a promise of bonus points—and a deadline sharp enough to make plans move.

On Saturday, one member received an email titled “Surprise Kathryn!. You’re Eligible to Earn Up to 30. 000 Bonus Points.” The offer can also be found by logging into a World of Hyatt account. clicking “My Offers” in the left-hand menu. and selecting “Available” at the top of the page. then pressing “See details” to review the terms.

Unlike many prior Hyatt promotions that focus on specific brands or locations—such as stays in Las Vegas or at Under Canvas. Hyatt House. Hyatt Studios and Bahia Principe Hotels and Resorts—Hyatt’s new round of targeted offers includes options that can be valid on both paid and award stays across the World of Hyatt portfolio.

The offer highlighted in that email set the pace for what eligible travelers could earn: 10. 000 bonus points for every 10 qualifying nights. up to 30 qualifying nights total. for a maximum of 30. 000 bonus points. Hyatt also sets a registration requirement: members have 90 days to complete eligible stays after they register. and they must register by August 19.

Hyatt’s terms define what counts toward the qualifying total. Eligible paid rates and free night awards count, and Hyatt defines free night awards as those for which a traveler redeems either a free night certificate or Hyatt points.

That structure can change how people time their trips. Because the 90-day earning window begins once a member registers, one traveler said they may wait—planning to register in mid-July so the 90-day period lines up with the most eligible Hyatt nights later that summer.

The promotions also appear to be tightly targeted. The email’s details weren’t widely available when other staffers checked accounts, with several not seeing similar offers.
