Hannah Harper books up tour through October after Idol win

Star-shaped confetti had barely settled when Hannah Harper started thinking about the road — and the short window she’ll take before it gets busy again.
Harper. 25. said an hour after celebrating her May 11 “American Idol” win. “Almost every weekend until September. October. is booked fully.” She described the plan as a mix of intimate venues — “smaller. intimate settings. theaters. festivals and stuff like that” — and said she wants fans who come out to feel close enough to “hug their necks.” But first. she said she needs a break “for. like. two weeks.”.
The Willow Springs. Missouri. singer — a mom to three — came into the spotlight during Season 24 auditions with a song about postpartum depression. “String Cheese.” Her performance drew millions of views on social media. and the attention became the seed for her first tour’s name. The String Cheese Tour kicks off June 2.
Harper said the reason behind the show was bigger than a catchy title. “Knowing that I could connect with other women who were feeling the same as me — women and men. really — that meant everything to me. ” she said. She added that sharing what she called her “ministry” and her relationship with the Lord is part of the point of every stop: “So every step of the way has been awesome.”.
The timeline begins with back-to-back nights in Nashville. The schedule lists June 2 and June 3 in Nashville, Tennessee; June 5 and June 6 in Mountain View, Arkansas, and Corning, Arkansas. After a homecoming stop in Willow Springs. Missouri. on June 20. the tour moves to Morehead. Kentucky. on June 25; Meansville. Georgia. on June 26; and Mineral Point. Missouri. on June 27.
In July, Harper’s dates continue with Bunker, Missouri, on July 3, followed by Charlotte, Arkansas, on July 11. The run then turns to Louisville, Kentucky, on July 18; Strawberry Point, Iowa, on July 24; Rochester, Minnesota, on July 25; and Knoxville, Iowa, on July 26.
August brings a deeper stretch of concerts, starting with Harrison, Arkansas, on Aug. 7, then Nashville, Arkansas, on Aug. 8, and Lebanon, Missouri, on Aug. 9. The tour continues Aug. 15 in Conway, South Carolina; Aug. 22 in Spindale, North Carolina; and Aug. 29 in Evans, Georgia.
By September, Harper is scheduled to play Deer Lodge, Montana, on Sept. 4; Greenville, Tennessee, on Sept. 12; Prestonsburg, Kentucky, on Sept. 13; and Poplar Bluff, Missouri, on Sept. 15. Her fall schedule also lists Gainesville, Missouri, on Sept. 19; Pelham, Tennessee, on Sept. 27; and then back-to-back shows at Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1. The run carries on to Leburn, Kentucky, on Oct. 2; Viburnum, Missouri, on Oct. 3; Magnolia, Arkansas, on Oct. 8; and Walhalla, South Carolina, on Oct. 9 and Oct. 10.
The schedule extends beyond October with dates on Oct. 24 in Hickory Ridge, Arkansas, and then Nov. 12 in Nashville, Tennessee, plus Nov. 14 in Bartlett, Tennessee.
