The moment GameHub users open the app, the change is already waiting. GameSir has pushed out GameHub version 6.0.6, and through the app’s Discord the team is framing it as “one of the biggest updates in GameHub’s history.”
The update rolls in Steam features that players will feel immediately: Steam Overlay support, Steam Friends & Achievements support with chat, achievement notifications, game invites, and party joining. It also adds a practical way to jump into games—users can join Steam lobbies from an invite.
For PC gaming on Android, the update stretches beyond overlays and notifications. GameHub now supports Steam Workshop and DLC management, and it includes custom install locations plus external Steam game import. On the screen side. the landscape experience gets a redesign: the landscape game details page is rebuilt with a revamped compatibility rating system. and the UI adapts better between landscape and portrait.
Control has also been reworked. GameHub’s virtual button layout editor and icon manager have been reworked with thumbnail previews, and the app adds new gamepad-to-keyboard and gamepad-to-mouse mapping. Navigation gets smoother too, with better gamepad focus navigation.
EA isn’t left out of the list. GameHub version 6.0.6 adds EA game support, alongside Steam enhancements.
But the update isn’t only about adding. GameSir says the new release reduces the app’s size by nearly 50%. and it comes with fixes aimed at stability and day-to-day reliability. Among the bug fixes are repairs for translator parameter configuration loss and frame interpolation issues on Mali devices.
Beyond the headline features, the changelog also includes dozens of additional improvements and optimizations, all bundled into this single 6.0.6 release that’s ready to install now.

Steam overlay on Android through GameHub?? That sounds like a recipe for lag. Also “invite-based lobby joining” like… you just get spammed invites right?
Wait, doesn’t “Steam Friends & Achievements” mean it can access your Steam account? Cuz that part worries me. I don’t need my achievements popping up on my phone lol.
The translator thing sounds dumb—like why would it even lose settings? And Mali frame interpolation issues… I have no idea what Mali is but I’m guessing it’s an iPhone thing? Anyway if the app really cut size by 50% I’ll believe it when I see it.
