Fever’s Aliyah Boston, Caitlin Clark surge in All-Star voting

Aliyah Boston and Caitlin Clark are atop WNBA All-Star fan voting after the second round of returns, with the 2026 All-Star Game set for July 25 in Chicago.

For the second straight wave of returns, Indiana Fever fans kept pressing forward—and it shows in the leaderboard. After the second round of WNBA All-Star voting, Fever center Aliyah Boston leads with 683,996 votes, while guard Caitlin Clark sits close behind on 670,510.

The stakes are simple: fans will help decide the starters. The 2026 WNBA All-Star Game is scheduled for Saturday. July 25 at United Center in Chicago. with ABC carrying the game at 8:30 p.m. ET. Players and media will join fans in selecting the All-Star starters. but fans hold the biggest share of the process at 50%.

Boston’s production has made her a natural centerpiece for the Fever’s surge in the race. She is averaging 16.6 points and 8.6 rebounds a game. Clark’s push is powered by scoring—she ranks third in the league this season at 21.3 points per game.

Behind them, the field remains tight. Defending WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces is next with 659,057 votes, followed by Paige Bueckers of the Dallas Wings with 640,026 and Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty with 566,161.

The next names in the voting mix include Jessica Shepard of the Dallas Wings (477. 066). Angel Reese of the Atlanta Dream (470. 748). Gabby Williams of the Golden State Valkyries (451. 450). Kelsey Mitchell of the Indiana Fever (434. 471). and Olivia Miles of the Minnesota Lynx (397. 080). Those ten vote-getters frame the next questions fans are already asking: who holds momentum when the voting narrows. and how quickly the ordering can shift.

The process is designed to account for more than popularity. Once all votes are counted. players will be ranked by position within each of the three voting groups—fan. player. and media. Each player’s score will be calculated by averaging their weighted rank from the fan votes. the player votes. and the media votes.

The four guards and six frontcourt players with the best score will be named as starters. After the starters are locked in, the league’s head coaches will select the 12 reserves. Those 15 head coaches will vote for three guards. five frontcourt players and four players at either position. and coaches may not vote for players on their own team.

For the coaching bench at the All-Star Game, the head coaches will come from the two teams with the best records following games on Friday, July 10, regardless of conference.
