For the June 14 UFC event at the White House. the plan—according to court documents—was supposed to unfold on the White House lawn. Instead. federal authorities say it was “stopped cold. ” after people around the suspect pushed information to police and investigators moved quickly to stop what they describe as a multi-part attack.

In a social media post. FBI Director Kash Patel said the alleged plot to target the Ultimate Fighting Championship event at the White House was thwarted. Federal authorities arrested multiple people in connection with the scheme. which court filings say would have involved drones. explosive devices and multiple gunmen.

At least five people have been charged. They are 19-year-old Tycen Proper, Abraham Hermosillo Alvarez, Bryan Omar Roa, Michael Alan Thomas and Daniel K. Eskridge.

The target, prosecutors say, was the June 14 event attended by President Donald Trump and top Cabinet officials. That includes Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and FBI Director Kash Patel.

The case hinges on how the investigation was set in motion. A criminal complaint says the plot unraveled when Proper’s mother went to police after becoming concerned about her son’s behavior online. his recent firearms purchases and his plans to travel. Local authorities then passed the information to federal investigators.

Federal investigators. according to court documents. reviewed an online chat they described as rife with detailed plans to carry out an attack at the White House lawn. The filings say the material included maps. escape routes and a possible “safe house.” The structure described in the documents—maps and routes alongside equipment and personnel—depicts a plan meant to move quickly once it began.

Attempts to reach the suspects or their lawyers were unsuccessful.

The sequence of events matters because it is the difference between plans written online and plans carried out in person. Here. the investigation appears to have gained momentum after a family member brought specific concerns to law enforcement—turning private worry into actionable information. and prompting a federal response before the June 14 event.

As of now, the alleged plot remains before the courts through charges filed against Proper, Alvarez, Roa, Thomas and Eskridge. Court documents lay out a serious set of allegations—drones. explosives. multiple gunmen—and describe an online thread containing what investigators say were operational details aimed at the White House event.

  1. So his mom called the police because of his online posts and gun purchases… honestly good for her. But also why are people buying firearms like it’s a hobby.

  2. I don’t really get it—was the “UFC attack plot” actually about drones and explosives or was that just stuff they said to scare people? Like half the time these court docs get exaggerated.

  3. FBI says “stopped cold” but you know they still let a bunch of stuff slide before right? Also why is it always online chats now, like everyone thinks they’re in a movie. If Tycen Proper’s mom reported him then why did it get to the point of all that equipment… anyway hope the family is okay.
