In documents filed earlier this year in his paternity dispute with Tiffany Lee, the actor told the court he couldn’t come up with the $250,000 she claims he owes. He described himself as unemployed and said his earnings were effectively nonexistent over the past year.
The filings, obtained by MISRYOUM, say Love claimed the highest gross income he earned over the last five years was just $13,000. He also asserted that his income for last year was $0.
Love further told the judge about a medical incident that prevented him from showing up to a hearing in April. He insisted he had acted in good faith throughout the case.
But the court wasn’t persuaded. The judge held Love in contempt and ordered him to turn himself in to jail for 90 days in May—or else.
