Don’t stare directly at the sun
Get your special eclipse glasses: A partial solar eclipse will be visible in parts of the U.S. today.
The northern U.S. and southern Canada will see the moon take “a small bite” out of the sun, according to NASA.
States expected to witness the partial eclipse range from Alaska to North Carolina. If you’re in the northern U.S., you will be able to see it between midday and midafternoon, according to NASA. For the eastern U.S., peak partial viewing times will be just before 2 p.m. ET.

The Lindsay Clancy murder trial
Dr. Jennifer Tufts first began treating Clancy in September 2022, roughly four months after Clancy gave birth to her third child. Tufts treated her through January 2023, when Clancy is accused of killing her three children – Cora, 5; Dawson, 3; and Callan, 8 months – and attempted suicide at her Duxbury, Massachusetts home. Tufts testified over the course of two tense days in the Massachusetts mother’s murder trial.
