Dutton Ranch Episode 3 Drops May 22 on Paramount+

Episode 3 of “Dutton Ranch” arrives Friday, May 22 at 3 a.m. ET / 12 a.m. PT on Paramount+, with weekly Friday releases through July 3. The series continues Beth and Rip Wheeler’s Texas restart as new threats close in.
Fire didn’t just start the story in “Dutton Ranch” — it forced Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler to leave everything behind and start over in South Texas. In the early episodes now streaming on Paramount+. the couple’s Montana life is gone. replaced by a new setting. new enemies. and a ruthless rival ranch determined to protect its empire.
Kelly Reilly, who plays Beth Dutton, described the move as more than a change of scenery. “We had to pluck these characters off a world they knew into a new one to start again and grow them in a different direction,” she said.
In “Dutton Ranch,” Beth and Rip “fight to build a future together − far from the ghosts of Yellowstone −” as their plan collides with “brutal new realities and a ruthless rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire,” according to the series synopsis.
Christina Alexandra Voros — director and executive producer — previously framed the Texas chapter as both a fresh start and a lesson in how hard peace can be. She told the outlet that the couple’s new chapter is “a new beginning. the kind of heartbeat and story of the American West.” Voros said that while Beth and Rip are looking for peace. “they learn there’s always going to be people standing in front of the peace they’re seeking.”.
“Wherever the Duttons go, they find trouble,” Voros added.
The next step for viewers comes soon. Episode 3 is scheduled to arrive Friday, May 22.

3 a.m.? Paramount+ really hates normal people lol.
So they just… left Montana? I thought Yellowstone ended already. This feels like a whole side quest. Also Beth and Rip always got enemies, like can they ever just sit down?
Wait is this the show where they blame a fire for everything? I swear I saw somewhere it was like a real ranch thing. But anyway, I guess Episode 3 is when the rival ranch comes in and starts causing trouble. If it’s not connected to Yellowstone at all then why is Beth even there?
I don’t get it. They move to South Texas for peace but then “there’s always people standing in front of the peace”?? That sounds like every episode of TV ever. I’m just waiting for them to find out what happened to their original life, like did they lose the whole ranch or what. May 22 is soon though, I’ll probably end up watching even if I’m annoyed.
