Chrishell Stause Fires Back as Drama Over TikTok Grows

Chrishell Stause says follow-up comments about her Katharine McPhee criticism were hidden after an online TikTok and an E! News infographic reignited the dispute. She also accused a pop culture account of missing context and challenged the coverage on Threads.
Chrishell Stause didn’t just react once. After her criticism of Katharine McPhee spread widely online, she returned to Threads to push back again—this time over what she says was missing context and even what she claims was hidden.
The trouble began when Stause commented under a TikTok chronicling Katharine McPhee’s first marriage to Nick Cokas and tying it to her current marriage to David Foster. In the comments. Stause called out McPhee for supporting “problematic men. ” adding that “an insecure woman will steal your man. and give the worst advice.”.
McPhee eventually found out about the remarks once they began circulating and responded publicly. Stause has now addressed the situation again after a pop culture account, @jordycray, reposted an E! News infographic about the dispute on Threads.
Jordy wrote on Threads, “Not my video causing this drama, oh well. Katharine is a LOSER!” In reply. Stause said. “It’s so annoying that the article doesn’t include what I was even responding to. But if you are in these streets campaigning for Trump backed Pratt. yeah I’m gonna eye roll your advice on men Katherine.”.
Stause’s comment refers to Spencer Pratt, who is running for Los Angeles mayor. She also pointed to the fact that McPhee recently showed support for Pratt by performing at one of his fundraising campaign events.
Jordy later added in the thread, “Right. Important context is missing. I just linked my video in the comments. Thanks for always being a real one.” Stause responded again, this time directing her frustration at E! News, saying it was allegedly hiding “2 comments on the post on IG.”
Throughout the exchange, the central fight isn’t only about what was said—it’s about what people believe they’re seeing. Stause’s latest push insists that the coverage around her original critique left out what she claims she was responding to, and that additional comments weren’t being fully shown.
