Chloe Bailey and Coco Jones premiere Strung at ABFF 2026

Chloe Bailey, Lucien Laviscount, and Coco Jones turned out for the 2026 American Black Film Festival opening night screening of their film “Strung” in Miami on May 27, with the movie set to arrive on Peacock this summer—premiering June 26.

Bailey arrived in an Avara Figlio gown, accessorizing with an Anabela Chan necklace and CRISTAHLEA earrings. On the red carpet. Coco Jones wore a Geyanna Youness dress. while the premiere also drew fellow cast members in attendance: Lynn Whitfield. Romy Woods. and Donna Biscoe. along with director Malcolm D Lee.

The movie’s premise centers on Bailey’s character. a talented violinist who lands a prestigious job as a music tutor for the gifted daughter of an influential and enigmatic family. As she is pulled deeper into their opulent world. unsettling secrets begin to surface—forcing her to question her safety. her dreams. and even her sanity.

Just days before the ABFF screening, Lucien Laviscount was seen in Mykonos, Greece, where he was filming the upcoming sixth and final season of “Emily in Paris.”

  2. Wait I thought Lucien Laviscount was done filming Emily in Paris like ages ago? Also ABFF is in Miami but people were in Mykonos so are they mixing scenes or something? Idk I’m lost.

  3. I don’t even know what Strung is about besides that violinist chick. Like is it horror? or a drama? The “enabling family secrets” part sounds kinda like those Lifetime movies but with rich people. Also ABFF premiere then Peacock later… so it’s basically gonna be streaming only and not theater? just asking.
