Brewers keep the season moving with drinks and games

During the June and July tournament, Steam Whistle will host FIFA tailgate and watch parties. NEW AND NOTED Back for the season at Anderson Craft Ales, in London, is a strawberry hibiscus sour brewed in collaboration with Heeman’s. Black and Gold Brewing, in Petrolia, has added no-alcohol beers along with dirty sodas – soft drinks with flavoured syrups – that can be prepared in non-alcohol and alcohol versions. Back in the fridge for the first time since 2022 at Storm Stayed in London is Shook,
a milkshake kettle sour with mango, pineapple, and passionfruit. Try it with goat cheese. Wellington Brewery, in Guelph, took its helles recipe and created a beer cocktail in time for summer. Wellington Spaghett is a crisp lager with lemon juice flavour. Back for the fifth year is a beer and train event in Palmerston. The Raleway Festival – “Where taps meet the tracks” – happens June 20 and features craft beer and spirits from the likes of MacLean’s, Neustadt, and Wellington.

So it’s just beer stuff and train rides? Nice I guess lol.
I read “dirty sodas” and immediately thought it was a typo?? Like why would you put syrup into soda but call it dirty. Also “no-alcohol” beers already tastes like diet sadness to me.
Wait, the Steam Whistle FIFA tailgate—does that mean they’re showing matches on a train or something? Because the article also says “Where taps meet the tracks” which sounds like it’s all connected. I’m confused but I’m into the strawberry hibiscus sour and goat cheese combo.
I swear breweries are just making new flavors every week now. Strawberry hibiscus sour, mango pineapple passionfruit, helles beer cocktail, lemon lager… next they’ll be putting mango in spaghetti. I don’t even get the “prepared in non-alcohol and alcohol versions” part like is it the same bottle just different labels? Anyway, I might check out the beer and train thing in Palmerston.
