For Storage Wars fans, the grief hit hard in late April when news spread that Darrell “The Gambler” Sheets had died by suicide. Since then, co-stars and family members have shared memorial posts, and some close friends even said Darrell was dealing with cyber bullying before his passing.

Now, his son Brandon Sheets is addressing the one place so many viewers came to remember Darrell: his store.

During Storage Wars. Darrell was known for Havasu Show Me Your Junk. an antique and resale spot that shoppers and fans associated with the show’s thrill of the hunt. He often used items he found in old storage units—purchased on the series—to stock the store. After Darrell’s death, the shop was closed. Brandon says that won’t be the final chapter.

In a new Instagram post, Brandon wrote that “Havasu Show Me Your Junk” will reopen and continue making sales. Posting under the handle “@brandosheets” and referencing Darrell’s social presence on “@darrellgambler. ” Brandon said: “This is @brandosheets making this post on @darrellgambler all social medias will remain open. We appreciate all concerns and condolences. We do Plan to reopen ‘Lake Havasu’s Show me your Junk’ Please allow some time as we gather things and get through these tough times.”.

He didn’t pin the reopening to a calendar date. Brandon added, “There is no exact date set at this time. . . We appreciate all our Storage Wars fans!. We will be back BIGGER and BETTER than ever!. Just remember it is all of you that make up ‘The Wow Factor Baby’ We love and appreciate all the positive energy.”.

Brandon also addressed the personal pain behind the rumors and comments swirling around the time of Darrell’s death. He assured fans that any negative interactions would be handled directly, writing they’ll be “blocked and reported.” He followed up simply with, “Thank you all for your support.”

In the comments. fans rushed in with messages that mirrored the affection Darrell built on the show—quoting his catchphrases and urging Brandon to keep the spirit alive. One fan wrote, “thats a 50 dollar bill all day brando!. your dad was the best to watch. ” while another added. “Keep the spirit alive. Brando!” Several urged him to carry the legacy forward. including: “YOU ARE HIS SON. You Continue what he loved to do !. Much love & respect. He will always be around you & your family.”.

Others leaned into the memory of Darrell’s on-camera silliness and his signature pricing lines. with one commenter saying they would “always price things at the store & say. ‘That’s a $30 bill right there.’” Multiple fans signed off with prayers and tributes. writing “RIP Darrell. ” and thanking Brandon for continuing what Darrell loved.

As Brandon works through “tough times” and “gather[s] things” before reopening. the message to fans is clear: the store may be closed for now. but it isn’t finished. It’s being prepared to return—bigger. better. and tied to the same store-front memory that helped make Darrell “The Gambler” Sheets a lasting part of Storage Wars.

  1. So it’s reopening but “no exact date”?? Meanwhile people are already freaking out online. Also cyber bullying rumors are always messy, like nobody really knows what happened.

  2. Didn’t they close because of the suicide stuff though? Like I get grieving but reopening “bigger” sounds kinda weird to me. I swear I saw somewhere the store was gonna be sold, not reopened.

  3. I feel bad for Darrell. But the article says he died by suicide and then immediately talks about the shop reopening… idk I’m confused. Are they reopening under the same name in Lake Havasu or “Havasu Show Me Your Junk” is different? And if all the social media’s staying open, are they gonna keep the comments on too? People online are ruthless.
