Brandi Glanville fears ringworm after oral sex

Brandi Glanville says she suspects she may have sexually transmitted ringworm in her throat after oral sex with a recent partner, despite earlier tests coming back negative for sexually transmitted diseases.

Brandi Glanville didn’t sound calm when she brought up her latest health worry on the newest episode of her Brandi Unfiltered Podcast.

The 53-year-old reality star. speaking with her guest Lisa Ann—an author. radio personality. and retired porn actress—said she suspects she may have contracted ringworm in her throat after oral sex with a recent partner. She asked Lisa directly: “Have you heard about sexually transmitted ringworm?. I feel like I have it … in my throat.”.

Her fear isn’t just coming from a passing Google moment. Ringworm is described by the CDC as a fungal infection that can affect the hair, skin, or nails. It can spread through skin-to-skin or sexual contact, and the guidance notes it can be “more severe and difficult to treat.”

Lisa Ann also pushed the urgency with what she called the problem of visibility—most people don’t know what to look for. She described how her team handled it when a new person of talent arrived. explaining they had to be trained to check for patches because it’s “incredibly contagious.” She said the makeup artists were told to inspect bodies in a well-lit area. describing the process as having people “get naked in a window where there’s good light” and look for “any patches.”.

For Glanville, the timing matters. She said she believes she picked up the infection after dating “somebody in that industry” who did “a lot of wrestling.” She didn’t name anyone. but she explained how that person supposedly avoided contact with her face and worried about pregnancy—adding that she told him. “OK. whatever. ” because “I’m not going to correct you. ” and “I’m like. ‘OK. whatever. I’m not going to correct you. Alright, honey.’” She then said, “He didn’t know that ship had sailed.”.

Still, she said what happened in her mouth is what led her to worry—especially after she heard about it from her partner’s girlfriend “yesterday,” even though she “knew nothing” about it before then.

Gl anville also said she’d already gotten several tests to check for sexually transmitted diseases. and she said those results came back negative. But the ringworm concern lingered. Now, she’s worried the infection could be moving deeper than expected. She said she’d “really just heard about ringworm yesterday. ” and that it can “burrow in. like. if it’s in your throat.” From there. she added. “If it’s in your throat. they can burrow deep into your ears and all that.”.

The podcast comes with added weight because Glanville has spoken publicly before about other health battles over the years, including a facial disfigurement she blamed on a parasite she said she got from her breast implants.

For now, she’s urging attention—about what could be happening, and how easily people can miss what to look for. Glanville said she suspects ringworm in her throat, and the episode is currently available to watch through the Brandi Unfiltered Podcast video.
