Poll asks Greater Manchester residents for best shopping centre

Whilst online shopping certainly comes with a lot of convenience, it’s hard to compete with the lure of walking into a shop and being able to browse the aisles when it comes to a bit of retail therapy. Thankfully, Greater Manchester is perfectly positioned in a bit of a bargain hunting mecca – with shopping centres and retail outlets all over the place offering a very unique experience, whether it’s spending money in the city centre, overlooking the waterfront, or even surrounded by a bit
of neo-classical-inspired architecture (if you know, you know). With so many retail spots on our doorstep, it can be hard to choose a favourite but we’re tasking you with that very responsibility. We want to know which, in your humble opinion, is the best shopping centre in Greater Manchester. Click here for the latest on Manchester’s food & drink scene, gigs and more in our CityLife newsletter It could be purely down to location or easy access, or you could get more specific with regards
to the atmosphere, the variety of shops or even the opening hours – they’re all important details worthy of being considered. We’ve helped you out a little bit with six options, but if you think there’s another worthy of the honour then simply swing a vote their way too. Fill in our poll below to get started.

Why do we need a poll for this lol.
Honestly it’s just gonna be the biggest one, right? Like whoever has the most stores wins. I don’t care about “atmosphere” when I’m trying to find stuff fast.
Isn’t Greater Manchester basically the same thing as London shopping? Like everyone says “city centre” but I’m pretty sure they’re all the same. Also neo-classical-inspired architecture?? Is that code for like… fancy buildings to trick you into spending more? I’ll probably vote for whatever is closest to me anyway.
I wish they’d said the actual six options in the article instead of making me click around. Online shopping is convenient but yeah nothing beats walking around, picking things up, pretending you’re “browsing.” Opening hours matter too because if it’s closed by the time I’m off work then it’s useless. I’m voting for the one with the best food spots inside even if it’s technically not “the best shopping centre”.
