Bam Margera Skips ‘Jackass: Best and Last’ Premiere

Bam Margera has a ticket to the Hollywood premiere of “Jackass: Best and Last,” but won’t attend due to a prior engagement and isn’t ready for a reunion after a bitter fallout with Johnny Knoxville and director Jeff Tremaine.
The Hollywood premiere of “Jackass: Best and Last” is coming fast, but one of the franchise’s biggest names won’t be there.
Bam Margera received an invite and a ticket to the big event for the final “Jackass” film, set to drop next month, but he’s unable to make it because of a prior engagement.
Even so, Margera isn’t completely shutting the door on the moment. He’s not quite ready for a reunion after a bitter fallout with the cast—specifically Johnny Knoxville and director Jeff Tremaine—but he’s rooting for the movie to be a giant success, “like all the others have been.”
If Margera isn’t showing up himself, he’ll have a presence in spirit. He’s expected to send representatives of sorts: his parents, Phil and April, who are described as fan favorites from the franchise.
There’s also another thread tying Margera to “Best and Last” ahead of the premiere. Earlier this year, he made a deal that allowed producers to use old, never-before-seen footage of him in the film. “Jackass: Best and Last” will include a mix of newly shot stunts and unseen OG footage.
That link to the project is especially significant given what came before. Margera has a super bitter fallout with the “Jackass” family and Paramount. He was fired from the last film after allegedly breaking his contract, which included a stipulation that he had to stay sober.
After that termination, Margera sued Paramount, Knoxville and Tremaine over wrongful termination in 2022, and the case later settled.
Now, with the premiere approaching and the final film dropping next month, the story looks less like a full comeback and more like a careful, partial bridge—no reunion in person just yet, but continued support from the sidelines.

So he’s really not going? That seems petty like… let it go already.
The headline says he’s skipping but the article is like he’s still “supporting” it? Representatives like his parents is weird lol. Paramount probably told him not to come.
I don’t get the whole “not ready for a reunion” thing. Like if they already got old never-before-seen footage of him then why not show up and just smile for the cameras? He sued them in 2022 so maybe he thinks he’ll get arrested at the premiere or something.
This is all so messy. He got fired for breaking contract and had to stay sober, but then they’re using “old footage” like it’s totally separate? Also I swear I heard he was banned from Paramount or whatever, so now it’s like the movie’s still using him but he can’t be seen. I’m just trying to understand how that works, because it sounds like a bridge… unless it’s just a PR move.
