For families and colleagues. the lack of specifics leaves a difficult gap between confirmation and understanding—facts pinned down to dates. locations. and assignments. while investigators work to determine what went wrong. What is known so far ties the incident to May 31 at Erbil Airbase. with Seibel’s role linked to Operation Inherent Resolve and the broader training effort occurring under scrutiny.

  1. I swear every time it’s Iraq it’s always “under investigation” like that explains anything. Robinson, Texas… my cousin lives near there and now I’m mad. Hope they tell what actually happened.

  2. Wait, are they saying he died because of some kind of operation? Like Operation Inherent Resolve sounds like a mission not just training. If he was supporting it, then maybe it wasn’t an accident? Idk, just feels connected.

  3. “Two U.S. Army soldiers” and a British one too… that’s like the whole incident, but they won’t say what the training was. Erbil Airbase is in northern Iraq right? I saw something online about a crash but I’m not even sure if that’s real. I hate the vague stuff—just give the facts.
