Amazon Prime Day starts 3 a.m. June 23

Amazon Prime Day 2026 begins at 3 a.m. ET on June 23 and runs through June 26. New deals drop at 3 a.m., 11 a.m., and 4 p.m. each day, with early discounts already live and Prime members able to shop savings of up to 50% or more.

At 3 a.m. ET on Tuesday, June 23, Amazon’s biggest sale of the year will finally start—just as shoppers are settling in, refreshing wishlists and hunting for the markdowns they’ve been waiting to land. Prime Day runs through Friday, June 26, ending at 2:59 a.m. ET.

For Prime members, it’s not just a chance to shop fast—it’s a schedule. Amazon says new deals will be released at three different times each day of the four-day event: 3 a.m. 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. ET. While many early Prime Day discounts are already available now. Amazon’s main deal drops are timed tightly enough that missing one window could mean paying full price—at least until the next one.

Prime Day is also arriving earlier than Amazon typically runs it. The sale is usually held in July. Last year. it ran July 8-11. and it was the first time Amazon extended the event to four days after it had been two days in previous years. This year brings the four-day run back again, giving shoppers more chances to catch deals across the event.

During Prime Day. Amazon says Prime members can shop exclusive discounts sitewide on everything from apparel and electronics to beauty and groceries. The deal range is broad. with savings on bestselling items and new releases across multiple categories. including beauty. tech. kitchen. clothing and outdoor. Prime members can expect discounts of up to 50% off or more.

Some shoppers won’t have to wait until the official start, either. Before Prime Day begins, a set of early deals are already live. Among them: Apple AirPods 4 are listed for $99, down from $129; Apple AirPods 4 are described as $30 off. Nintendo Switch – OLED Model with White Joy-Con is priced at $370 instead of $400. Xbox Series S (All Digital) is $380 instead of $400. An Apple Watch Series 11 is listed at $299 instead of $399.

The early discounts also stretch into home, tech and kitchen. Hisense 65″ U6 Pro Series Mini‑LED 4K HDR Gaming AI Smart Fire TV is $780 instead of $1,100. Bissell PowerClean 200W Self-Standing Cordless Vacuum is $150 instead of $200. Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is $1,210 instead of $1,500. Philips Sonicare 7300 Series Electric Toothbrush is $100 instead of $200 (50% off).

For kitchen work and everyday cleaning, there are deals such as Amazon Brand – Presto!. Triple Action Dishwasher Pacs for $9 instead of $12, and Ninja CREAMi Deluxe Ice Cream Maker for $200 instead of $250. BISSELL Little Green Mini is $80 instead of $100. Shark FlexStyle is $199 instead of $350. Levoit Air Purifiers for Home are $160 instead of $190, and the Breville Barista Express Espresso Machine is $500 instead of $693.

Streaming and smart home gear are part of the early lineup too. An Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Select is $18 instead of $40. and the listing also mentions 55% off plus 1 month of Xbox GamePass free for new users. There’s also an Echo Dot Star Wars Bundle for $80 instead of $100. And for beauty and grooming, Kiehl’s Facial Fuel Exfoliating Face Scrub is $21 instead of $28.

To get access to the Prime Day deals. Amazon specifies that you need an Amazon Prime membership because the event is exclusive to program subscribers. A standard Prime account costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year. Prime for Young Adults (ages 18-24) costs $7.49 per month or $69 per year. Both memberships come with exclusive discounts and free. fast delivery. including same-day and overnight shipping. plus streaming access through Amazon Prime Video. Amazon Luna. Amazon Prime Reading and Amazon Music.

Prime for Young Adults includes additional benefits: 5% cash back on eligible purchases, and 10% cash back on top of Prime Day deals for select items.

With the clock now set for 3 a.m. ET on June 23, Prime members have a clear window to plan their shopping. The event ends at 2:59 a.m. ET on June 26, and with daily deal drops at 3 a.m., 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. ET, the next few days may come down to who has their wishlist ready before the first bell rings.

  1. So deals drop at 3am, 11am, and 4pm right? But also it says early discounts are already live so I’m confused… does that mean you can buy the “biggest” stuff before 3am or not?

  2. I swear these times are different every year. Last year I remember it being in July but my friend said it was only two days? Now it’s four days again so maybe they’re just stretching it because nobody’s buying at night.

  3. Up to 50% off sounds fake tbh. Like yeah it’s “up to” but half the stuff I check is still basically full price unless you already have the app or whatever. Also 2:59 a.m. end time feels made up… why not just say 3 a.m.
