Ainsley Earhardt prays her daughter knows Jesus

Fox & Friends co-host Ainsley Earhardt says her biggest wish for her 10-year-old daughter is that she knows Jesus, and she is releasing a children’s book tied to democracy and voting freedom.
On a quiet day in New York, Fox & Friends co-host Ainsley Earhardt is still thinking about the same thing: her 10-year-old daughter, Hayden.
Earhardt said her biggest wish is simple and specific—she wants her daughter to know Jesus. “Please pray that she knows the Lord,” Earhardt told ChurchLeaders. She added: “Please pray protection over her life because I’m raising her in New York City and I love her so much.”
She also described the way motherhood changed her sense of love. Earhardt previously shared that she never knew what real love was until Hayden was born. She told ChurchLeaders that it “is remarkable” and that she feels her daughter is “a gift from God created with a purpose. ” saying. “like I was supposed to be her mom.”.
The way Earhardt talks about parenting is threaded with that same faith—paired with a push toward warmth at home. She said she tries to walk a line between being strict and being comforting. “I’m strict with Hayden. but I want her to love her life and I want our home to be such a happy place for her. I want her to want to come home. I want her to be with me,” Earhardt said.
She painted a picture of what she wants their household to feel like: “I want all the kids at my house and I want to be that oasis — that house that has the good food or the best costumes or the fun playroom.” She continued: “I want her childhood memories to be fun and for her to know I was always there.”.
That desire to shape early memories—plus her love for her daughter and her country—is part of the reason she wrote her new children’s book, America, I’m So Glad You Were Born.
Earhardt spoke about the book’s message through the lens of gratitude for the country itself. “Without America, where would we be? It’s just the greatest country in the world, and we’re so fortunate to be a part of it and I was born here and I don’t take that for granted,” she said.
The book is also designed to teach kids about democracy in a way she calls accessible. Earhardt said it’s “primarily about democracy and the freedom to vote.” She explained: “Men and women can vote in this country and we get to choose our elections…It’s very important for us to teach our children. And sometimes we can teach them like this book does, in a very elementary way.”.
The description for America. I’m So Glad You Were Born frames it as a family read that celebrates core freedoms. It says: “Perfect for children and families, this beautifully illustrated book celebrates America’s rich heritage and traditions. From the founding principles of democracy and equality to the freedoms we cherish—like freedom of speech. religion. and opportunity—this book is a heartfelt reminder of why we’re so thankful for the U.S.A.”.
Earhardt’s new release also sits alongside her earlier work. America, I’m So Glad You Were Born is related to one of Earhardt’s other children’s books she wrote in 2022, I’m So Glad You Were Born, which celebrates love and individuality.
America, I’m So Glad You Were Born comes out on Tuesday, June 2.

So she’s praying now? Ok.
I mean good for her I guess, but democracy and voting freedom book… isn’t that kinda politicizing kids? My 10-year-old doesn’t need Fox & Friends in story time.
Wait I thought this was about her daughter knowing Jesus, not voting stuff? Like how are those the same thing? Also New York City is basically where all the problems are anyway so I don’t know why people act surprised.
I don’t get it, she says she’s strict but also an oasis and good food and costumes?? Kids are gonna get confused. And “democracy” book sounds like a campaign plug with extra steps. Praying for protection is fine, but just let the kid be a kid. Honestly sounds like trying to mix religion, parenting, and politics all together.
