Fresh details have emerged in the investigation into the death of NFL star Calais Campbell’s mother after authorities released a disturbing 911 call and revealed that a neighbour’s surveillance footage played a key role in prompting a welfare check.Nateal Campbell, 71, was found dead inside her Atlanta home on Tuesday, while Calais Campbell’s brother, Ciarre Campbell, has since been charged with murder and aggravated assault.The case has shocked the NFL community, as police records also point to a history of previous incidents at the family

So wait, the neighbor’s camera was the whole thing? Like if they didn’t have footage would nobody even look? I hate that. Also “mentally ill” isn’t exactly the same as murder, ya know.
I’m confused because the article says relatives couldn’t get in, then later it’s like a knife was found. If police were called at 12:30, why weren’t they there earlier? And “knife in possession” sounds like they just assumed it was used. Sad either way.
This is why I don’t trust neighbors tbh. Cameras are always watching but nobody hears anything until the 911 call. And the brother “waived his hearing” doesn’t mean he did it, it just means he’s scared or whatever. People jump to conclusions way too fast, especially with an NFL family name attached.
