When Thais Ramone was booked in Nevada on a domestic battery charge, it landed like a hard stop on an already volatile week for the couple—hours after the public divorce story broke.
Clark County court records show Ramone was arrested on May 22 on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge, first offense. She was later released after posting a $3,000 bond.
The timing has fueled intense scrutiny. The arrest came less than 48 hours after news surfaced that 90 Day Fiancé star Patrick Mendes had filed for divorce from his wife, Thais Ramone. In the filing, Mendes cited incompatibility after four years of marriage.
Court filings also show Mendes is asking for sole legal and physical custody of the couple’s 3-year-old daughter, Aleesi. The papers state the child has been living with him separately since early May.
Ramone’s next court appearance for the battery charge is scheduled for late July.
The couple first came to reality TV audiences through TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé franchise before later appearing on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?. More recently. they were announced as cast members for the upcoming season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort. a spinoff centered on couples attempting to repair troubled relationships through therapy. That season is still scheduled to premiere on June 1.
In a statement about the divorce proceedings, representatives for Mendes and Ramone urged restraint as the attention escalated. The statement said. “Out of respect for everyone involved. we believe it’s important not to jump to conclusions or contribute to speculation before all facts are properly clarified.” It added: “Domestic matters can be deeply emotional and complex. and we encourage compassion. privacy. and due process for all parties involved.”.
That request for caution is being tested by the broader trail now tied to Mendes as well. Separate court records indicate Mendes faced multiple lawsuits tied to debts owed to a bank and credit card companies in 2025, with default judgments reportedly entered in those cases.
Neither Mendes nor Ramone has publicly addressed any of these issues beyond the initial statement.
