Zendaya and Tom Holland Shut Down Hat Theory

Zendaya and Tom Holland tackled the “Zendaya hat theory” in a new interview with LINDA, turning the internet buzz into a playful moment just as their Spider-Man: Brand New Day press tour kicks off.
Zendaya and Tom Holland may spend their days in front of cameras, but the internet has still found a way to invent a new explanation for what’s under Zendaya’s biggest red-carpet hats.
In a new interview with LINDA, the interviewer asked whether there would be any hats on the press tour—directly nodding to the silly “theory” that speculated what might be hiding beneath them, even suggesting Tom could be involved.
“Hats? Oh my God. This won’t go away,” Zendaya said.
Tom then jumped in, asking, “WWhat is it again? What’s it called? Zendaya hat theory,” before Zendaya fired back: “It’s peak brain rot. The kids are not okay.”
Tom admitted the whole thing is at least entertaining. “It is quite funny though,” he said.
Zendaya agreed, calling it “so funny, it’s so weird.” Then she teased the idea of leaning into the bit: “But yeah, maybe we need to whip out some hats.” Still, she made it clear she wasn’t hiding him anywhere. “But obviously I’ve let you out of my hat, ’cause you’re here.”
Tom followed with a joke of his own: “I know. I like being out here. Don’t put me back in the hat.”
“It’s nice out here, isn’t it?” Zendaya replied, sealing the moment with a warm laugh.
The exchange comes as the couple kicked off their Spider-Man: Brand New Day press tour this week. They celebrated the launch of the film’s new trailer at an event in Amsterdam.

So they’re just trolling the internet again, got it.
Peak brain rot??? I mean the hat theory was obviously dumb, but now they’re feeding it more. Smh.
Wait I thought the whole hat thing was like some secret engagement theory or something. Like “tom is in the hat” = code or whatever? Maybe I’m mixing it up with the other fandom post lol.
Idk why they keep doing this press tour banter like it’s real life. Amsterdam trailer launch and suddenly it’s hats again. Isn’t this just marketing to keep people talking? Also Tom “out of the hat” is kinda weirdly cute, but also… who even started it in the first place?
