Yolanda Hadid didn’t just show up in Cannes—she did it with her daughter.
On Monday, May 18, Yolanda, 62, walked the red carpet alongside Bella Hadid, 29, at the Chopard Miracle Gala Evening. Yolanda drew attention in a bright red cinched-waist dress, finished with matching silver earrings and a necklace. Bella chose a gold Elie Saab gown for the evening.
The pairing was a rare sight. It was the first time Yolanda and Bella had walked the red carpet together since October 2022, when they attended the God’s Love We Deliver 16th Annual Golden Heart Awards in New York City.
Bella also made another Cannes appearance just a day earlier.. On Sunday, May 17, she attended a screening of French drama Another Day at the festival with her brother, Anwar Hadid.. For the Sunday event. Bella wore a strapless satin gown in a pale gray shade. featuring a bejeweled bodice and a dramatic train.. Her hair was styled in an updo by OLAPLEX Ambassador Jacob Schwartz.
Yolanda has largely retreated from public view in the years since her divorce from ex-husband David Foster in 2016.. Foster has since married American Idol star Katharine McPhee and was previously married to B.J.. Cook, Rebecca Dyer, and Linda Thompson.. Yolanda had also been married to real estate developer Mohamed Hadid from 1994 to 2000. and together they share three children—daughters Gigi and Bella and son Anwar.
Life away from the spotlight became even more complicated for Yolanda after she went public about her diagnosis. In December 2012, she was diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease, a condition that can cause fatigue, muscle pain, and cognitive issues.
And when she spoke about The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in the past. she made it clear how difficult filming could be.. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight in October 2022, Yolanda suggested that filming the Bravo show wasn’t conducive to her lifestyle.. She said that during the first season she joined. she had been diagnosed with neurological Lyme disease and “struggled every day.”
“The first season I went on, I was diagnosed with neurological Lyme disease, and I struggled every day of the season,” Yolanda said at the time. She explained she stayed on because she thought she would get better, adding that she “didn’t know Lyme disease was a life sentence.”
She also described feeling shut out from the normal experience of working on the show. Yolanda said she was “never [working] with a full set of brains on the show” because of her ongoing battle with chronic Lyme. She then spoke about how hurtful speculation from costars had been.
“Those things were very hurtful, and not just hurtful to me but hurtful to my children and my family who loves me. And they knew I was fighting for my life,” she said. She added, “So, from that perspective, it wasn’t a good experience for me. And, you know, that was the taste I was left with.”
For fans keeping track of her Housewives history, Yolanda was a diamond-holder on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills between seasons 3 and 6.
Outside the show, her personal life has continued to shift.. In August 2024, Yolanda confirmed that she had gotten engaged to her boyfriend of five years, Joseph Jingoli.. She told People that Jingoli, 66, actually proposed while they were vacationing in her native Holland in 2022.. The engagement didn’t lead to marriage; as People reported, they separated on amicable terms in January 2025.
