WWE On Netflix Censored Brock Lesnar–Oba Femi Moment!

WWE fans have continued getting disappointed by the promotion’s Netflix policies. From censoring out words on Brock Lesnar’s T-shirt, to censoring blood on screens, to now censoring out certain gestures.
Just days before the Hell in a Cell showdown between Lesnar and Oba Femi at WWE SummerSlam, WWE produced a similar segment on the latest edition of Monday Night RAW. During the segment, Femi was locked inside the Hell in a Cell cage, while Lesnar stood outside. The segment finished with both men flipping off each other and showing their middle fingers. While certainly an NSFW act, fans were left disappointed at getting censored on Netflix.
During the live stream on Netflix, viewers were able to see the two men showing explicit finger signs to each other. This portion of the broadcast was, however, cut from the replay; the camera instead focused on a broader view of the Hell in a Cell and then returned to Lesnar and Femi after they stopped showing the finger signs.
Netflix is a streaming platform that is known for its freedom to express and creative liberty. WWE fans were not happy with this latest censorship as they started expressing their feelings online. “This is beyond ridiculous. Netflix is desperate to make Brock Lesnar PG,” wrote one fan. While another person commented, “Like fr, censoring his already “censored” T shirt and now this.” “whats the point of being on netflix if they censor literally every thing?” another person shared a legit concern.
Lesnar and Femi have been feuding since WWE WrestleMania 42 and are currently tied 1-1. The two are set to compete in a tiebreaker at WWE SummerSlam 2026.
