From Chipotle’s jersey-driven buy-one-get-one offer to Domino’s red-card promotion and Krispy Kreme’s Match Day Dozen, major U.S. chains are rolling out World Cup-themed food, drinks, and discounts timed to the tournament’s June 11 start.
On the night the World Cup kicks off, it won’t just be stadium lights drawing crowds. In dining rooms across the U.S., restaurant promotions are set to turn matchday into a shopping moment—complete with jerseys, collectible items, and limited-time flavors.
The 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup begins Thursday, June 11, with Mexico taking on South Africa. The United States plays Friday, June 12 against Paraguay in Los Angeles, with kickoff set for 9 p.m. ET. The World Cup Final is scheduled for Sunday, July 19 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
A wave of chains is aiming to capture the tournament energy with World Cup-themed meals and bargains timed to specific dates—often the same day the U.S. team takes the field.
McDonald’s launches FIFA World Cup 26 Meal with collectibles
McDonald’s rolled out its FIFA World Cup 26 Meal on June 4. The meal includes one of nine collectible cups featuring soccer stars such as Christian Pulisic, Son Heung-min, David Beckham, and Grimace.
Customers can choose between a Big Mac or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, and both come with a limited-edition, gold-packaged Big Mac Sauce. Breakfast options let customers pick a Sausage McMuffin with egg or a Sausage Biscuit with egg, both served with hash browns.
The company will also introduce a FIFA World Cup 26 Happy Meal starting June 9. That meal includes one of 23 Squishmallows plushies, including World Cup mascots, and it comes in special packaging with a scannable code that unlocks an exclusive digital game on the Happy Meal website.
Chipotle ties discounts to jerseys on June 11
Chipotle announced on June 8 that it will offer a buy-one-get-one entree deal on the first day of the World Cup. The redemption is simple: customers can grab a jersey from their closet.
Anyone wearing a soccer jersey at a Chipotle location on June 11 after 3 p.m. local time is eligible for the deal, timed to the World Cup kickoff.
Chipotle is also launching a limited-edition soccer jersey, as the company announced. Stephanie Perdue. senior vice president of brand marketing at Chipotle. said in a statement: “We wanted to celebrate the rituals that make the experience so memorable. from wearing lucky jerseys to gathering for matchday meals with Chipotle.”.
Buffalo Wild Wings adds Matchday Menu, new sauces and drinks
Buffalo Wild Wings starts a new promotion on June 11 with a Matchday Menu built around six new Heinz dipping sauces, two new cocktails, and Michelob Ultra beer towers.
The six sauces are available for a limited time and are themed to flavors from around the world: Peri Peri (South Africa), Yuzu Wasabi (Asia), Maple Sweet Chili (Canada), Sweet Curry (Europe), Smoky Elote (Mexico), and Creamy Chimichurri (South America).
The first new cocktail. the Red Card Punch. features coconut rum. strawberry. pineapple juice. and lime. finished with a strawberry sugar rim and a red card trinket. The Yellow Card Margarita includes Casamigos Reposado. Cointreau. mango. vanilla. lime sour. fresh lime. and a Grand Marnier float. finished with a Tajin rim and yellow card trinket.
Buffalo Wild Wings will also offer a 100-ounce Michelob Ultra beer tower during the promotion’s run.
Alongside the new menu, the Pick 6 Meal for Two is back this summer. It includes two entrées, two sides, and two fountain drinks starting at $19.99. Customers can choose from options like 10 boneless wings or the All-American Cheeseburger for the entree, with fries, tots, or wedges for the sides.
Domino’s offers emergency red-card pizzas worth $1 million
Not every promotion follows the match schedule the same way. Domino’s announced on May 18 that it will give away $1 million worth of emergency pizzas if any player from the United States receives a red card during the World Cup.
To get a chance to win a free emergency pizza, customers must register at dominos.com/emergency-pizzas-for-soccer before June 10 at 11:59 p.m. ET. If any player on the U.S. soccer team receives a red card, Domino’s will randomly select more than 60,000 winners for a free medium, two-topping pizza.
Winners must be enrolled in Domino’s Rewards and then redeem their pizza by Aug. 2, 2026, the company said in a news release.
Krispy Kreme adds Match Day Dozen from June 11 to June 14
Krispy Kreme’s World Cup celebration arrives in the form of a Match Day Dozen. The promotion is available for a limited time from Thursday, June 11, through Sunday, June 14 at participating shops in the United States.
The Match Day Dozen includes Kickoff Doughnuts—an unglazed shell doughnut filled with Cookies & Kreme. dipped in green cookie dough icing. and decorated with soccer field lines and a soccer ball piece. It also includes Soccer Rainbow Doughnuts. which are an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in vanilla-flavored icing. sprinkled with rainbow nonpareil sprinkles. and topped with a flying soccer ball piece.
Two fan favorites—Original Glazed and Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles—round out the box.
To sweeten the deal, Krispy Kreme is also offering fans an Original Glazed dozen for just $2 with the purchase of any dozen or 16-count Minis at regular price Thursday through Sunday.
Alison Holder, Krispy Kreme’s chief brand and product officer, said in a news release: “Soccer brings people together like nothing else, and fans are eager to share the excitement. Wherever you’re watching, the Match Day Dozen brings extra fun, flavor and color to every match.”
Crumbl rolls out international cookie lineup, then a build-your-own bundle
Crumbl is serving soccer-inspired flavors from June 8 through June 13. New cookies include Blue Raspberry Sports Drink Cookie, American Brownie Sundae Cookie, Mexican Tangy Mango Cookie ft. Tajín, Canadian Nanaimo Bar Cookie, Ultimate Peanut Butter Cookie, and Soccer Field Dubai-Style Cheesecake.
Crumbl is also offering a Soccer Bundl from July 8 through July 18 that lets customers pick their own flavors and build boxes in the Crumbl app.
Auntie Anne’s Pitch Pack runs June 3 through July 31
Auntie Anne’s is offering customers an all-new Pitch Pack plus limited-edition soccer merch from June 3 through July 31, or while supplies last.
The Pitch Pack allows fans to pick any two Pretzel Nugget flavors or Mini Dogs plus two dips. Packs are available in-store or for delivery through the Auntie Anne’s app or website.
The pretzel chain also unveiled nugget plushies and branded soccer scarves, available on the Auntie Anne’s merch site.
The promotions, taken together, show how the World Cup has become more than a sports story for consumers—it’s also a timed run of deals designed to pull people into stores and apps when anticipation is highest.
