Two months after exchanging rings, Travis Kelce is finally talking about marrying Taylor Swift. And no, Swifties, he didn’t talk about when photos will be released, if at all.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end flashed his nuptial hardware while reflecting on the couple’s July 3 wedding at Madison Square Garden during the Season 5 premiere of his “New Heights” podcast with older brother Jason Kelce.
“At this point, we’re, what, over a month out? It’s been so much fun,” Travis said. “First of all, the night was a night out. It was insane. It’s a night we’ll never forget.”
Swift and Kelce married at Madison Square Garden in New York in front of family, friends and a star-studded guest list. The couple’s wedding ceremony looks were designed by Christian Dior creative director Jonathan Anderson, and their brothers served in the wedding party: Austin Swift as Swift’s man of honor and Jason Kelce as Travis’ best man.
“It was just so magical, man and I wish it could have lasted even longer than it did,” Travis said. “It felt like it just happened in the blink of an eye.”
Jason joked that the party ended because “they kicked us out.”
“Well, once the drinks stopped being served, everyone kind of just starts to, you know, mosey out,” Travis responded.
The groom also thanked the staff at Madison Square Garden, saying he and Swift wanted a venue that could provide privacy while still allowing them to bring together people from different parts of their lives.
“We wanted to do it somewhere where we could have a very intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions,” Travis said. “We needed it to be a private feel, and MSG went above and beyond to give us that.”

Travis reserved a special thank-you for Adam Sandler, who officiated the ceremony.
“He has been just the best person on this planet,” Travis said. “For him to be up for getting ordained in the state of New York and marrying me and Taylor, in the way he did it, in the very Sandman style and giving us more than we could have ever imagined in that moment, knowing that it was the biggest night of both of our lives. It was absolutely insane.”
Jason said Sandler brought more than comedy to the ceremony, praising the actor’s “sweetness.” He also said both Travis and Swift were “incredible” while exchanging vows.
The brothers offered a glimpse into the celebration. Jason said there wasn’t a lengthy sit-down portion or a string of formal speeches. Instead, it was time to party. He recalled seeing Brad Pitt hugging Conan O’Brien, spotting Sir Paul McCartney and then being equally excited to run into people he and Travis had known growing up.
Travis said the couple’s no-phone policy helped create that atmosphere.
“With no phones comes, you know, people not having to be on guard,” he said. “It makes everyone be in the moment and be present.”
For Travis, one of the highlights was watching his and Swift’s worlds converge.
“It was so cool seeing everyone from my childhood not only mesh with Taylor and her childhood and her family and friends and people that she works with, to who we’ve come in contact with over our career and who we just admire as people and have become good friends with now,” he said.
