Vogue Williams reveals two miscarriages ahead of fourth child

Vogue Williams has opened up about experiencing pregnancy loss. The podcaster, who is married to Spencer Williams and is already a mum to three smallies , Theodore, Otto and Gigi, with a fourth on the way, has suffered two miscarriages, one in 2020 and the other just last year. When asked how she dealt with pregnancy loss, Vogue said that although it is tough, it is more common than you might think. “It is tough, I suppose, when it happens to you, you’re just like

‘Why did it have to happen to me?’, but then why wouldn’t it happen to you? Because it happens so often, it’s like nearly two out of every four pregnancies; it’s really common. “I think when I saw other people talking about it, because as soon as something like that happens to you, your algorithm changes, and you just start seeing all these stories, and I have to say, they just made me feel better. I was always unsure if I would mention it or

not, but I just felt like no, it wasn’t as easy as we wanted it to be this time around, and like I nearly had told the children the last time, and that’s why I held out so long this time,” she explained on Sunday with Miriam on RTE Radio 1. “I think it’s just important to highlight that, it’s not easy for everybody, and these things do happen, and it’s just one of those unfortunate things. But we dealt with it, I mean, I

kind of just have a way when things are quite difficult, I just focus on things that are good, and I don’t like to just drag the mood down too much. I have to remember that I feel so lucky in so many different ways that when something like that happens, you just have to try and remember everything else that’s good in your life and try and just get through it that way.” The 40-year-old also shared how she is currently doing as she

prepares to welcome her fourth child later this year. “I feel grand. I mean, I get quite bad sickness, so I’m just kind of sick every day, but it’s fine, it’s just one of those things. I think when you feel like that, that’s just the way you feel all the time, so you kind of get used to it. But, like the day I give birth, is when I come back to life. “I think pregnancy is really tough on a woman’s body. It’s

such a rollercoaster of emotions and just, particularly if you get sickness, like I do, I find it very difficult and I don’t even get it as bad as some of the people get. So it can be quite tough and so tiring.” Want to see more of the stories you love from RSVP ? To add RSVP as a preferred source of news on Google, simply click here
