Verizon flags Wear OS 7 update for Pixel Watches

Verizon flags – Verizon’s support pages now point to a Wear OS 7 rollout for Pixel Watch 2, Pixel Watch 3, and Pixel Watch 4, listing software version CP2A.260603.001 and a June security patch—while Google hasn’t officially announced when it will land.

A Pixel Watch owner’s waiting game may be getting shorter. Verizon has quietly updated its support pages with new details that point to Wear OS 7 coming to Pixel Watch 2, Pixel Watch 3, and Pixel Watch 4.

The pages don’t just hint at a future update—they name it. Verizon’s listing identifies the software version as CP2A.260603.001 and says the Wear OS 7 update will include the June security patch. It also mentions “other performance and stability improvements. ” the kind of behind-the-scenes fixes people usually only notice after an update has already been installed.

Google hasn’t announced a rollout date. Even so, the support pages also include June 9 as a release date for the update. But that date doesn’t match what Pixel Watch owners are likely seeing right now: the update does not appear to have started rolling out to Pixel Watch 2. Pixel Watch 3. or Pixel Watch 4 users as of this moment. and Google has not provided an official timeline.

At the same time, Verizon updating its website in advance suggests the rollout could be close. If the carrier is preparing for an imminent deployment, the gap between “inbound” and “available” may be measured in days, not months.

Wear OS 7 itself is lined up to bring changes beyond security. The update is expected to improve battery life and performance. introduce flexible and dynamic widgets in two sizes. and add media-related upgrades. Those include a new remote audio output switcher, per-app media auto-launch controls, and a native fitness-tracking experience.

For now, the only thing that’s clearly official is Verizon’s software breadcrumbs: Pixel Watch 2, Pixel Watch 3, Pixel Watch 4, CP2A.260603.001, and the June security patch. The rest—the moment it starts landing on devices—still waits on Google to make it official.

  1. I don’t even see Wear OS 7 on mine. Verizon saying June 9 is hilarious if it’s not rolling. Like why put a date then.

  2. Wait, Pixel Watch 4 is getting it too? Thought the newer models would get it first but apparently not. Also CP2A.260603.001 sounds like a fake code they make up to look busy, idk. Battery life better be true or I’m switching.

  3. June security patch + “widgets” and “media auto-launch” like that’s gonna fix the fact my watch still lags sometimes. Verizon updating support pages doesn’t mean it’s actually coming soon, it just means someone updated a webpage. But I guess if the gap is “days not months” then cool… maybe. Still waiting on Google to say anything though.
