Vanessa Lee is opening doors—and closing a few others.

The Things We Do founder. a cosmetic RN and Eastern Face Reader. has added a newly opened location in West Hollywood. California. It joins her three Los Angeles studios and her Hawaii outpost. The expansion comes as Lee’s less-is-more approach keeps drawing a high-profile crowd. including Khloé. Kourtney. and Kim Kardashian. Jessica Alba. Gabrielle Union. and Kate Hudson.

But for Lee, the most important conversation isn’t about where her clients are booking—it’s about what they should be booking.

She’s urging beauty lovers to pause before cosmetic surgery, especially when the goal is a dramatic change. “Stop messing with your eyes. We have seen celebrities that have access to the best and most expensive surgeons get work done and it really changes the essence of the face. If you are in your 50s and need to remove excess skin. that is one thing but getting an upper bleph in your 30s and 40s and altering the shape of your eye completely may leave you with regrets in a couple of years. ” Lee tells ET.

Where she wants people to put their attention instead is enhancement—work that supports what’s already there. One treatment she’s especially excited about is her BioGlow treatment. Lee describes it as a combination of Sculptra under the hairline with PRFM under the eyes and shadows around the mouth. all in one treatment. “The results are undeniable,” she says, calling it “hot right now and completely worth the hype.”.

For clients looking for lift and rejuvenation without going for a full-on reshaping, Lee points to thread options. The guidance she offers is rooted in “very rigorous, Korean-influenced training for threads for subtle lifting and collagen building.”

She’s seeing requests beyond the face as well. “We’re seeing a lot of requests for Onda Pro body tightening this summer for skin tightening and contouring.”

Even with procedures on the menu, Lee treats appointment-day fixes as the end of a much longer story. In her view, the groundwork matters—starting with something as unglamorous as reapplying sunscreen. “Everyone needs a sunscreen stick or brush-on in their bag. You are not reapplying enough, and it shows at your fall appointments. I like the brush-on from Colorescience and my favorite drug-store brand sunscreen stick is from Sun Bum, SPF 40. It glides on smoothly, doesn’t leave a greasy residue, and it feels very refreshing on the skin.”.

The routine doesn’t stop at skincare products either. Lee also says some of the best beauty secrets can be found in the kitchen. “I love jujube and longan tea for reducing inflammation and building iron. I have this tea almost daily and it is so delicious.” She adds that sardines are having a moment—because they’re “a source of omega-3 fatty acids. ” which she says are “great for both health and beauty.” Her go-to is simple: “I love mine in tomato sauce or with some olive oil and crushed red pepper flakes.”.
