USMNT faces Germany at Soldier Field June 6

USMNT vs – On Saturday, June 6, 13 international friendlies featuring teams qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America are scheduled, with the United States set to play four-time champion Germany at Soldier Field in Chicago at 2:30 p.m. ET.

Saturday, June 6 looks like a full plate for soccer fans—13 friendly matches spread across the United States and beyond, all involving teams qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.

The night’s biggest U.S. headline lands at Soldier Field in Chicago. The United States men’s national team faces four-time World Cup champion Germany at 2:30 p.m. ET in its final tune-up before the tournament.

The USMNT then turns quickly to the World Cup itself, starting group play against Paraguay on June 12 at SoFi Stadium in Southern California.

England, Brazil, and Argentina are also among the notable exhibition matchups on the June 6 slate. England plays New Zealand at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa at 4 p.m. ET. Brazil meets Egypt in Cleveland at 6 p.m. ET, and Argentina plays Honduras at Texas A&M’s Kyle Field at 8 p.m. ET.

Beyond the U.S. games, the friendlies extend across Europe and the Americas as well. Belgium takes on Tunisia at King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels, Portugal hosts Chile at Estádio Nacional do Jamor in Oeiras, and Qatar plays El Salvador at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles.

The World Cup’s opening match will come soon after the tune-up window closes. Co-hosted by the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, the tournament begins on June 11 with El Tri hosting South Africa in Mexico City.

  1. So June 6 has like 13 games?? Nobody can keep up. I saw England in Tampa and thought it was the World Cup already lol.

  2. If USMNT is playing Germany just “tune-up” then why are people acting like it’s the biggest match of all time. Also Paraguay on June 12 sounds scary but I feel like Paraguay is in CONCACAF for some reason? Maybe I’m mixing it up.

  3. I swear friendlies are pointless like they don’t matter, but then I look at the schedule and it’s all these countries qualified for 2026 like it’s bragging rights. Germany already played some club teams this year right? And Qatar vs El Salvador in LA is random, who even asked for that.
