Trump weighs family attendance at White House UFC night

Trump family – President Donald Trump is set to turn 80 on June 14 and celebrate with up to 5,000 UFC fans at the White House. His family’s expected presence—along with uncertainty about whether Barron Trump will attend—adds a new layer to a high-profile event mixing politic

By the time the UFC octagon comes to the White House, it won’t just be about fighters.

President Donald Trump is scheduled to attend the first Ultimate Fighting Championship event at the White House as he marks his 80th birthday on June 14. Organizers are planning for a crowd of up to 5. 000 UFC fans. and Trump—who often appears at major sporting events with family at his side—has been signaling a pattern of bringing his closest circle into the frame.

Just recently, he showed up for Game 3 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden with his granddaughter Kai Trump. That matters now because the event’s family guest list looks like it could become its own talking point: not just who arrives, but who stays out of view.

Donald Trump Jr. and his new wife Bettina Trump (formerly Anderson) are expected to make their first public appearance after getting married last month. Other prominent members of Trump’s extended family are also expected to attend. with the New York Post reporting that first lady Melania Trump. Eric Trump. wife Lara Trump. Ivanka Trump and husband Jared Kushner will be there.

The only notable gap is Barron Trump. The first lady’s office did not say whether the most elusive Trump, first son Barron Trump, would attend.

If he comes, the contrast could be immediate. Barron Trump, 20, has stayed largely out of public view, but when he does show up he stands out—approximately 6-foot-7 inches tall. He is a student at New York University’s Stern School of Business.

For viewers watching the event like a media beat, the bigger story may be how quickly a birthday celebration turns into a public display of family unity, celebrity proximity, and political muscle.

Trump is the father of five children: Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump, Marla Maples and Donald Trump (married from 1993 until 1999), and Melania Trump and Donald Trump (married in 2005).

His children and their families are tightly interwoven with that expected attendance:

Donald Trump Jr., who has five children with his ex-wife Vanessa Trump, is married to Bettina Trump (formerly Anderson).

Ivanka Trump is married to Jared Kushner, and they have three kids together.

Eric Trump is married to Lara Trump, and they have two kids.

Maples and Trump have one daughter together.

The couple’s daughter, Tiffany Trump, is married to Michael Boulos. They had their first baby in May 2025.

Trump and Melania Trump have one child together.

The event also lands in the middle of a widening generational spotlight. President Donald Trump has 11 grandkids: Kai Madison Trump, the eldest child of Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump (and the eldest grandchild of President Donald Trump); Donald Trump III. Spencer Trump. Tristan Trump. and Chloe Trump—all children of Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump; Arabella Kushner and Joseph Kushner. children of Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner; Theodore “Theo” Kushner and Luke Trump. children of Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner and Eric Trump respectively—Luce is identified as the son of Eric Trump and “Fox News” host Lara Trump; and Carolina Trump. another child of Eric Trump and Lara Trump. The list also includes Alexander Trump Boulos. son of Tiffany Trump and Michael Boulos. and Kinsey Crowley. the outlet reporter named in the source material.

The sequence of facts is simple: Trump’s birthday on June 14, a White House UFC event bringing an estimated up to 5,000 UFC fans, and a family lineup that’s largely expected—except for the person who tends to stay hidden.

In the end, the question isn’t only whether the president’s family attends. It’s whether Barron Trump remains the one figure who doesn’t step into the spotlight—even as the rest of the Trump family prepares to appear in one high-visibility moment at the center of American attention.

  1. So it’s 5,000 UFC fans at the White House for his birthday… that’s actually kinda nuts. Also if Barron doesn’t show, people will act like it means something.

  2. Wait I thought UFC was banned or something in Washington? Like I saw a thing about it being controversial. But anyway, of course they’re gonna bring half the family, because that’s literally the whole brand. Barron not being confirmed is probably just PR games.

  3. I don’t get the big deal, it’s just a birthday party and fighters. But the article keeps saying “uncertainty about whether Barron attends” like it’s a scandal. Also Jared Kushner’s gonna be there?? I thought he was busy doing other stuff… unless this is just another photo op like when he went to games with everyone.
