Hold the line? Sounds like they just want more war stuff to keep going.
Wait, so the Fed chair got confirmed and everyone’s arguing about war?? I thought the Federal Reserve was like… money, not politics. This seems like Cruz is mad at Trump but also Graham is confused about why the war started, which like, hello, everyone knows wars start because of money.
Pompeo saying “not remotely America First” is rich when Trump is literally pushing everyone to do what he wants. But I don’t even get the Warsh part—wasn’t he already in charge of something? Either way, “political independence” is a joke if they’re negotiating behind the scenes over a Federal Reserve chair.
Graham asking “why the war started to begin with” like he didn’t help vote for stuff before. And Cruz being “deeply concerned” makes me laugh because half the time these guys are concerned until it’s their guy. Also why is Trump talking about war when it’s a Senate vote for Fed chair… seems like the whole thing is connected to inflation somehow? Like if the Fed chair changes, then the war changes, I guess?
