President Donald Trump is set to be at Madison Square Garden on Monday for Game 3 of the NBA Finals between the San Antonio Spurs and the New York Knicks.
The plan was confirmed by Shams Charania. with Trump’s attendance tied to a possibility he had previously floated after the Knicks swept the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals. Trump had said he was invited to attend one of the upcoming games in New York by Knicks owner James Dolan.
Mayor Zohran Mamdani is also expected to attend Game 3, but he has made one thing clear: he won’t be sitting with Trump. Mamdani has typically been seen in the nosebleed seats when he’s been at the Garden, adding another layer to a night that already has plenty of star power.
