I saw the clip and it’s like he didn’t even know what the clasp was for. Also the joke about giving himself the medal just seems so gross, like read the room.
Maybe the medal was rigged or something? Like why would it take that long unless there was an issue. People are acting like it’s the end of the world but I’ve seen those fastenings be weird, especially on camera.
Not gonna lie, the crowd laughing tells me it wasn’t just one awkward second. First he pats him weird, then he’s struggling with the band for forever, then he ties it in a knot??
