Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson wed on Little Pipe Cay

Donald Trump Jr. married Bettina Anderson on Little Pipe Cay, a private Bahamas island shown in major films and described as hosting only 22 people. The multiday celebration was kept private despite hints shared online, drew fewer than 50 guests that included

The first clear images of Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson’s wedding weekend arrived like small. deliberate signals—wedding bands shown with the caption “Forever yours” and “Forever mine. ” and a close-up of a white silk “Mrs. Trump” script, paired with a Jane Austen quote on a cocktail napkin: “My heart is and always will be yours.”.

The couple’s marriage itself, however, stayed behind a wall of privacy. Even as days passed, Bettina—now using the name @bettinatrump—had not posted photographs of the ceremony, reception, dress, or even food from the celebration.

Anderson’s name change became part of the story in her own words from a bridal shower. shared in remarks captured in a video posted by friend and designer Stacey Bendet. In those comments. Anderson. now Trump. said: “I feel honored to join your family and to fight by your side. Don. through whatever life brings us. And to become your wife is the greatest honor, and I will stand by your side through anything.”.

The setting for all of it was Little Pipe Cay. a 38-acre private Bahamas island—hyper-exclusive. film-familiar. and designed for secrecy. The island is part of the archipelago of the Bahamas and has appeared in films including the James Bond and “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchises. Its website describes access as a “short 30-minute seaplane or helicopter ride” from Nassau. or a private flight to nearby Staniel Cay.

Little Pipe Cay includes beaches, five “luxurious cottage estates” with 11 bedrooms, butler service, a spa, and even a private chapel. The venue also caters to elite clientele. but one key detail stands out for anyone trying to understand how the weekend stayed so tightly controlled: a person familiar with the wedding weekend’s details told CNN that the private Little Pipe Cay estate only hosts 22 people.

Nightly rates aren’t posted publicly by LUX Hospitality. A luxury real estate broker. Amanda Lynn Estates. put the cost at “$75. 000 to $95. 000 per night. varying with the seasons.” The couple chose the location after previously visiting the small island in the Exuma Islands. the person familiar with the details said.

Colin Lightbourn. a partner at Engel & Völkers Bahamas. described the island in a 2023 interview about the property with Luxe Infinity. calling it “an absolute gem and a rarity in the international luxury real estate market” and saying it offers “an unparalleled level of privacy and a wide range of unique recreational activities.”.

The wedding weekend was still small by big-family standards: fewer than 50 guests attended, with the Trump family present but without President Donald Trump or First Lady Melania Trump.

The limited guest count was, in part, a sharp drop from the hundreds who attended Anderson’s Mar-a-Lago bridal shower. Sources familiar with the wedding weekend’s security arrangements told CNN that extra precautions were put in place after the event’s location was leaked.

Among those guests were Trump Jr.’s siblings—Eric Trump and Ivanka Trump—along with his half-sister Tiffany Trump, each with their spouses. Trump Jr.’s five children from his first marriage to Vanessa Trump were also there: Kai, Donald III, Tristan, Spencer, and Chloe, ages 11 to 19.

Bettina Anderson’s social media activity suggested a busy life beyond wedding planning. She recently followed a series of parenting-themed accounts on Instagram, including “The Gentle Parenting Hub,” “Dr. Deborah Purposed Parenting,” and “@maryeffingpoppins_stepmum.”

The weekend also had multiple days of festivities, with time for watersports on the crystal blue Atlantic Ocean. Ivanka Trump and her niece Kai Trump posted images of stand-up paddleboarding, while Lara Trump and Tiffany Trump appeared to be boating.

Decor details—still carefully filtered—came through the posts shared by other family members. Lara Trump shared clues about one event. describing a venue decorated in dark pink. orange. and muted yellow with tropical florals and fuchsia bougainvillea. rattan chairs. and string lights mixed with seagrass shades and colorful paper lanterns on the sand. Lara wore an orange-red Andreeva knit dress with feather accents; Eric Trump appeared in white jeans. a light blue linen shirt. and white sneakers.

Ivanka Trump posted images from her private accommodations. including a custom needlepointed “Little Pipe Cay” pillow on a daybed and a marble bust on a mahogany table. Ivanka wore a plissé Cult Gaia dress in a similar red-orange tone paired with gold flats. while her husband Jared Kushner wore khakis. a navy dress shirt. and slip-on sneakers. Ivanka also shared a sunlit image from inside her room. showing a straw hat on a chair and fresh florals on a desk.

Outside the island, the decision of who wasn’t there carried its own weight.

President Donald Trump remained at the White House over the weekend. working the phones with Gulf leaders on Saturday regarding the possibility of a peace deal with Iran. In a Friday post to social media. the president said: “I feel it is important for me to remain in Washington. D.C. at the White House during this important period of time. Congratulations to Don and Bettina!”.

First lady Melania Trump, who was at the president’s club in Bedminster, New Jersey, also did not attend.

So the weekend played out in two parallel worlds: one. sealed behind the privacy of Little Pipe Cay and shared only in fragments; the other. centered in Washington as the president pursued international diplomacy. Even as the family offered hints on Instagram—rings. napkin quotes. rooms with needlepointed pillows—the marriage remained. by design. mostly out of frame.
