If Sunday’s opening moments were any indication, it was going to be a show built for the big stage: singing, dancing, acting—then doing it all again, live, when the theater finally settled into performance mode.

  1. I didn’t even realize the Tony’s were already happening, thought it was later. But if it’s opening with all those “biggest stars” then yeah the red carpet was probably doing the most. Broadway is expensive, so I’m guessing tickets are ridiculous too.

  2. So is P!nk like… the award winner too or just hosting? I feel like they always say “best and brightest” but half the time I don’t know these people. Also “eight shows a week” sounds made up? like who can do that without getting injured lol.

  3. Broadway’s biggest night and they still couldn’t get the weather under control? I swear NYC always ruins some part of it. Anyway the article keeps saying “streamed into New York” like it was online, not in person. And why do they call it 2026 if it’s happening Sunday night… am I missing something??
