Tom Cruise was spotted in VIP seats at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles with David Beckham and Victoria Beckham as the United States played Paraguay, offering fans a rare look at their nearly 20-year friendship.

Tom Cruise was in the VIP section at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Friday, and the moment didn’t look like a typical celebrity cameo.

The 63-year-old actor sat with David Beckham and Victoria Beckham while they watched the United States take on Paraguay. Cruise and Beckham have been close since 2007. and the time they spent mingling and talking during the lighthearted festivities gave fans a rare glimpse into their nearly 20-year friendship.

A few rows below them, cheering fans caught sight of the pair and greeted them directly. At one point, Cruise and Beckham were seen holding a conversation as the match unfolded around them.

Cruise arrived dressed for the occasion in dark brown trousers, a plain shirt, and a brown blazer, finishing the look with fashionable shades. Beckham matched the setting in a navy suit with a light blue shirt and a blue tie.

The World Cup outing followed a fresh burst of Hollywood-and-soccer overlap earlier the same day: hours before the game. Cruise introduced Beckham as the former professional soccer player received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Earlier still, Cruise had a reunion with former co-stars Colin Farrell and Dakota Fanning.

By the time the trio took their seats together for the United States vs Paraguay match, the friendly chemistry was already on display—turning a VIP night at a major tournament into something closer to a reunion than a routine celebrity appearance.

  2. Wait Beckham and Tom Cruise are like, really friends?? I thought Cruise only talked to soccer players he could promote or something. Also Walk of Fame star sounds like it was arranged for the World Cup? not sure but it feels connected.

  3. Beckham being at SoFi with Tom Cruise and Victoria too… honestly that’s the most random crossover ever. I saw a clip online like 5 seconds long and it looked like they were just doing small talk the whole time, meanwhile the US team is out there playing Paraguay. Kinda funny though, like rich people have VIP seats to everything.
