TikToker Gabbie Gonzalez Tried to Threaten Jack Avery

TikToker Gabbie Gonzalez is facing allegations tied to a criminal complaint claiming she and a pal, Kai Cordrey, tried to get an MMA fighter to intimidate her ex, Jack Avery, in 2021—before a later plan to find a hit man appeared in the complaint.
On Kauai, a plan to pressure an ex turned from intimidation talk to a darker search—at least according to a criminal complaint now tied to TikToker Gabbie Gonzalez.
The case centers on an alleged effort involving Gonzalez and her pal Kai Cordrey. who are both charged over a scheme connected to Gonzalez’s baby daddy. Jack Avery. The complaint alleges Gonzalez initially tried to get a former MMA fighter to intimidate Avery before she later shifted to seeking a hit man to take him out.
Court documents obtained by TMZ say Gonzalez and Cordrey went to Dustin Barca, a former professional fighter and boxing trainer, after approaching him about the alleged threat. The complaint describes Barca as a pro fighter with a 4-0 record.
Gonzalez and Cordrey tried to convince Barca on March 23, 2021, to threaten, scare, or force Avery to leave Kauai. The complaint’s allegations are stark: they weren’t just discussing anger or conflict—they were looking for ways to push Avery out.
The documents also suggest Barca did not get involved. After that, Gonzalez and Cordrey allegedly tried to find a hit man on the dark web in the weeks that followed.
The felony complaint further alleges that an undercover investigator got Cordrey to talk about the plan on the phone in 2021—an attempt that became part of the evidentiary trail as the case moved forward.
Gonzalez, her father Francisco Gonzalez, and Cordrey were all charged over the alleged scheme. Dustin Barca is not charged or accused of doing anything illegal.
The timeline reads like a sequence of escalation laid out in filings: March 23. 2021 brings the attempt to threaten Avery. and then. weeks later. the plan alleged by prosecutors turns toward the dark web. With the charged figures—Gonzalez. Francisco Gonzalez. and Cordrey—occupying the story’s center. the complaint keeps Barca on the outside as someone approached rather than someone accused.
