Showrunner Eric Kripke has also addressed online dissatisfaction. adding that he’s been seeing “a lot of online dissatisfaction. to put it politely.” He then asked what people are expecting. saying. “What are you expecting?. Are you expecting a huge battle scene every episode?”.
Starr isn’t the only cast member acknowledging the criticism. Laz Alonso, who plays Mother’s Milk, recently shared a reel on Instagram that referenced a “Soldier Boy Problem.”
As fans brace for the final episode. the show’s penultimate stretch has included surprises too—including an unlikely cameo from Marvel Studios actor Samuel L. Jackson. Speaking about the cameo. Kripke said the team wanted a “distinct voice who has a more distinct voice in Hollywood than Sam Jackson?” Kripke also revealed that Jackson was the first choice for the voice cameo.
