Target, Hollister launch dorm room collection as summer kicks off

By the time families start counting down to move-in day. the shopping list gets longer—bedding. throw pillows. a few warm layers for those late-night study sessions. On June 18. Target and Hollister added a new option to that scramble. announcing a branded collection built to dress both the room and the routine.
The two retailers launched “The Hollister Collection at Target,” made up of 60 different items spanning apparel and dorm room bedding. The palette leans into soft pastels along with cocoa, navy blue and grey, according to the announcement. Corey Robinson. chief product officer at Abercrombie & Fitch Co. said in a news release that each category is connected through “a shared color. print and pattern” designed to let customers “style what they wear and how they live in a cohesive way.”.
The line is the latest step in Hollister’s push for retail partnerships beyond the shopping mall experience. The retailer, which has been around since the early 2000s, previously rolled out Y2K-inspired products in collaborations with Taco Bell and Crocs last year.
What’s included in the dorm collection
The Hollister Collection at Target is organized around everyday dorm needs: bedding, accessories, and sleepwear. The bedding selection includes twin/twin XL, full and queen comforters and sheets priced between $35 and $65. Accessories range from wearable throw blankets to decorative and “study buddy” pillows, plus weighted plushies, with prices from $20 to $40.
The apparel component focuses on sleep and loungewear, including fleece tops and bottoms, sleep pants and sleep shorts. Those pieces are priced from $25 to $50.
When shoppers can get it
The collection is set to launch on Sunday, June 28, but a preview is already available on the Target website. After that initial release, the retailers plan additional product drops ahead of the winter holiday season and again in spring 2027.
Where to buy
Shoppers won’t be limited to a single store format. The collection will be available on the Hollister and Target websites, in most Target stores, and in select Hollister stores, per the news release.
