Storm Reid didn’t just watch the final chapter of Euphoria arrive on Sunday night—she also addressed, directly, why she wasn’t there for most of it.

The 22-year-old actress played Rue’s younger sister Gia Bennett in the first two seasons of the HBO series. For the third and final season. which has now ended. she didn’t return in the way fans were used to. In the episode itself. Nika King did appear briefly as their mom. but Storm Reid’s presence came only through a very short flashback moment while Zendaya’s character Rue hallucinated her family and friends in the final moments before she died.

  1. Wait so she wasn’t even in the season and they still ended it with Rue dying?? I’m confused, like was her character dead already or just missing the plot?

  2. Nika King was there for a second and that’s it? And the boss ordered her death?? That’s wild. Also I hate when fans act like 7 minutes is the whole show when the drug stuff was the point.

  3. The caption “sorry rue I’m busy in the stu” is kinda messed up considering the fentanyl part, like do people not realize how dark that is? And I saw somewhere that Alamo Brown was basically the DEA too?? idk, but if Zendaya’s character hallucinated her family then Storm wasn’t really “absent,” she was in it technically, right?
